The best pepper farm in Kampot
I visited BoTree Pepper farm in May 2024 and it was an anmazing experience. I was greeted by the friendly volunteers who took me around the farm, and Saory the Manager at the shop. The farm has a very friendly and relaxed vibe and the food was incredible too. The free tour was very insightful and I learnt a lot about the history of Kampot Pepper and why Kampot Pepper is the best in the world. Highly recommend if you’re planning to visit Kampot 👍

    The rain didn’t stop us!
we had such a fun, special experience here! we tried to take our motorbike here on a super rainy day and ended up getting stuck in the muck. fortunately, the owner was driving by in this truck and offered us a ride! we were able to do the free tour and tasting, eat the best amok we’ve ever had, and try some kampot red pepper ice cream. we both bought some kampot pepper to take home and share with friends and family. the farming is entirely organic (we learned how they make their organic pesticide and compost) and the farm actively supports local farms and communities, giving their workers ethical wages and healthcare. the entire experience was wonderful and intimate, hugely preferable to a big farm. and hitching a ride made for quite the story!

    Educational, fun and tasty
With the tuc tuc from Kampot to the pepper plantation. You will be met by a Guide who talks about the growth process of peppers in a fun way. Our god was Sauvee (“souvenir”) and we learned a lot from him. The tasting at the end is very nice and of course we took some pepper home. There is a shop and restaurant at the farm. Road from Kampot to plantation fine to do.

Great introduction to kampot pepper farming at a family owned farm
Great tour on a (Cambodian) family owned farm. We got a great (free) introduction to pepper farming and pepper tasting by Saory. The tour took around 30min and the tasting 10min. We didn't know you could also have lunch here. Vegetarian options for most of the dishes.

    Excellent
We had a great time visiting the farm. Saory showed us the whole process of making pepper with conviction and kindness. Then we tasted all the different organic peppers which were excellent and very aromatic! We had a hard time making our choice when buying. We 100% recommend this organic farm ✌️

An unforgettable experience at Botree Pepper Farm – highly recommended!
We had the pleasure of visiting the traditionally run Botree pepper farm today and it was an absolute highlight! Thanks to the professional and warm guidance of Saory, we have gained fascinating insights into pepper cultivation, plant care, harvesting and processing of pepper. The subsequent tasting was a treat and made us want to cook with high-quality pepper. A special highlight was Malish’s homemade pepper ice cream – a delicious and unique experience! The warmth and passion of the entire team have rounded off our last day of vacation perfectly. A visit to Botree Farm is an absolute must, and we can highly recommend it!

Guided tour of the pepper plantation followed by tasting, highly recommended
The tour of the plantation took about 45 minutes and we saw and learned a lot. Mr Nen Saory explained everything in a very understandable way. Now we know how pepper is grown, harvested and processed. The subsequent tasting was also very interesting. The products cannot be compared to the pepper we buy in supermarkets in Europe.

Very interesting tour and beautiful countryside.
Very charismatic and interesting owner explained how the farm was established and his exciting new ideas. They are very passionate. I love pepper but had no idea about the farming process or each of their qualities. We had a free tour round the grounds, very relaxed and personal. Then a tasting session. It was one of the best tours I've done on holiday. Their pepper has won awards for the quality. I also recommend taking time there, maybe drink so pepper tea as the setting is very chilled.
