Great experience. Largest stalectite in Europe - 7.5 metres long - weighs 10 ton. Staff at the Centre are friendly and helpful. Coffee shop and gift shop available. Wear the correct shoes - VERY slippery path. Not for the faint hearted - quite scary and 120 steps to climb down and up! Well worth a visit.
Thank you for your review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your experience at Doolin Cave and found the largest stalactite in Europe impressive. It's a remarkable sight! We appreciate your kind words about our friendly and helpful staff, as well as our café and gift shop. Your reminder about wearing the correct footwear is very important, and we advise this for everyone's safety, as highlighted on our website, booking system, confirmation emails, and at reception. As you mentioned, there are 125 steps in and out of the cave, equipped with handrails, and visitors are encouraged to take their time and rest at each level as needed. We strive to make the experience enjoyable for all our guests, even those who might find the climb a bit daunting. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back for another visit in the future! Best regards, The Doolin Cave Team

We had a shortened rainy day at the Cliffs of Moher so we visited Doolin Cave. We took a short (<1 hr.) tour. My review title is a bit of facetiousness-- there's a lot of moisture dripping from the cave walls. The cave is remarkable in one respect, one huge stalactite in a large chamber. Our guide was well versed in cave's geology and history and the small on site snack stand had some rather tasty baked treats.
Hello BigTool, Thank you for sharing your experience at Doolin Cave! It sounds like you made the most of a rainy day by exploring this fascinating underground wonder. I appreciate your humorous title—caves do tend to have their own "indoor" weather with all that moisture! The Great Stalactite is indeed a remarkable feature and definitely a highlight of the tour. It’s great to hear that your guide was knowledgeable and added depth to your visit with insights into the cave's geology and history. And who can resist tasty baked treats after a tour? It’s those little extras that can make an outing even more enjoyable. I’m glad you had a positive experience at Doolin Cave, despite the Irish weather. Thank you for your review! Best regards, Doolin Cave Management Team

Stopped by for a visit. Most people booked online we just drove by. The tours go out every so often. We just arrived at the right moment. 37 euros for 2 people to enter. You walk down into the cave. Here is a open area you see the largest stalactite in Europe. Pretty good. There is a little walk around 1 km. Good place for a stop to stretch your legs.
