Great for all the family even on a rainy day. A surprise at every step of the trail. Can’t wait to visit again.
A must see if you are in the area. It’s like stepping into another world. A beautiful Irish rainforest experience, with wonderful and clever sculptures and exhibits on the trail. We went on a rainy day, and it was still wonderful. Large family group from grandparents to kids as young as 3. There’s a surprise at every step of the way.

Absolutely loved it, would highly recommend
Absolutely loved it! We have been in the area several times over the past couple of years but regularly had our puppies with us, and they are not allowed entry. Completely understandable when you get inside. There were 5 of us: myself, my husband, our two adult daughters and one of their boyfriends. We expected to be in and out in under an hour, but finally emerged because we needed to be somewhere else, two and a half hours later. We were fascinated by the thought, imagination, talent and sheer hard work that went in to create this wonderful exhibition. Set in the most beautiful lush woodland mountain setting, which includes a waterfall, it is difficult enough to describe. A mixture of art, nature, science, history, fun and social commentary, it has something to capture the eye and grab your interest at every turn, including overhead. We tried all the activities, read as much of the narrative as we had time for, and spotted lots of the sculptures, though I have no doubt there were several in hidden corners or so well blended into the natural environment that we missed them. We were also lucky enough to get some of Sheena’s time, who gave us great insight and background information both about the ewe experience and the Glengarriff area. We so enjoyed our visit! I’m really looking forward to going back again, and bringing some of our friends and family, so we can see their reaction 😊. Highly recommend!

Nature art and knowledge, all together.
This is an amazing garden connecting art with nature. It has a quirky charm, and can be appreciated on many levels. There is a strong ecological theme running through the presentations, and it is possible to learn a great deal, almost without noticing. If we lived locally, we would definitely go back, enjoy our favourite parts and see something new each time. We went with teenagers so that’s quite the achievement!

    Fantastic place to visit!
If you have ever imagined a fairytale trail or thought of visiting some unusual magic places - there you go! The Ewe Experience in Glengariff is the most fascinating sculpture parks I have ever visited before 🤩 This is not just a park - this is also a leaving house and the workshop too for this beautiful and friendly couple! Artists managed to fill every little corner of the park with piece of art 🎨 ✨️ There are also interactive caves where you can imagine yourself a musicians and play "drums" with bamboo twigs on metal plates and other sorts of dishes 🎵🎶💿🥁 There is a game of optical illusion and see through "broken glass" making a simple picture as a part of mosaic 🎨 Lot's of other games to play through the park and lot's of exhibits to see 👀 This walk took us about 1.5h up and down through the nature masterpiece combined with artistic point of view of beauty 😁 ❗️Hurry if you wish to see it before park closed. Visitors season is up to 1st of September ❗️

Living Art for all family , inspiration for creators.
The ewe experience -- near to Glengarriff is most aptly named as it is a total experience not an exhibition. This is a place unique . It has facets that appeal to a very wide audience . The audience engages in a participation -- similar to "Installation Art " yet so much more . Many movements immerse us in a digital world. The Ewe Experience reaches far beyond digital imagination . It touches upon the mythical and further into the environmental . We are presented with deeply thoughtful pieces that are magical , entertaining and filled with delightful surprises.Visits are limited to two hour sessions of discovery . In part this is due to very limited parking areas .Also partly due to this place being the home of the artists who create all the pieces . We are invited to be welcomed throughout July and August .After end August The Experience turns inward to create more variations for next short season. During the two opening months the two artists who are the creators and supervisors are present and engage with their guests with charm and friendly wit . This place immersed in the wild nature of West Cork offers delight to young children , meaning to teenagers and a flavour of discovery to parents , grandparents and teachers . We have visited with family , students , artists , critics and entertainers . Nobody was ever disappointed . The most telling opinion was amazement to find that the parking was free and the admission was such a low and affordable price .
