A fabulous experience! We were able to reschedule due to inclement weather without a problem. Our guides, Emily and Niamh, gave us an up close and personal walk with Clive, a Harris’s hawk, along the beach. He even landed on the American flag which was quite amusing. The girls made us feel comfortable with Clive, as well as providing excellent conversation and knowledgable information about the birds. If you are looking for an out-of-car experience in Dingle, we highly recommend Kingdom Falconry. It is a once in a lifetime experience. We will be back to visit our adopted Ireland family when we visit again.

Absolutely amazing experience! It’s very clear that Emily and Niamh love to care for and train these beautiful birds! They were great with answering our questions, instructing is on what to do and even faired the weather so we got the most out of our time! They made this experience unforgettable! Hands down a MUST DO in DINGLE!

If I could give 6 Stars I would. My wife and I booked the "personal falconry experience" or whatever it was called. We arrived and initially were told that our reservation would have to be refunded, due to one of the Golden Eagles already being flown and tired for the day. After a 1 minute conversation, and the explanation that we would only be able to fly the juvenile Golden Eagle (not even remotely an issue to us) in addition to multiple other beautiful birds... Emily and her assistant Shauna gave us an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. Emily and Shauna were not only as personable and informative as we could've ever dreamed of, but I think they quoted us about a 60min-90min experience...but they ultimately spent at least 2 full hours with us. Every minute was, in a word, incredible. My wife and I weren't sure if we should "splurge" for the personal experience, but after it was over we both agreed we easily could've been charged more, and still felt like we got a steal of a deal. Can't recommend this place enough. There's a small, gorgeous, intimate, charming bar inside to calm any nerves for one's first falconry experience (as it was ours), and the bird's themselves were majestic to say the least. It's a 1 minute walk from the Dingle Distillery (also recommended), and if you're a tourist who is an avid "birder" or even just someone in town looking for an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience, PLEASE GO DO THIS. Thank you to Emily, Shauna, the Owner who served us drinks, and to the 2 Irish Wolfhounds who great you in the car lot. We had the most wonderful afternoon at Kingdom Falconry. And, it wasn’t expected. Honestly, I don’t love birds and was nervous about the experience. Yet, the amazing staff made it a tremendous experience — the birds are highly trained, gorgeous, and simply fantastic to see. I would love to do it all again. Moreover, the staff was simply incredible — very engaging women who made it easy to participate. HIGHLY recommended!

This activity is a must do if you can. Our guided experience with Emily and Niamh was truly outstanding. Their knowledge of the birds, ease with communicating with their clients, and their general good natured personalities made this visit one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Ireland.

The Hawk Walk is amazing! My husband and I were each given a thick leather glove and the hawk flew from person to person while we walked along the beach with the falconer. The aviary is in the back of a cute B&B right on the shoreline very close to Dingle town. You don't walk too far, but you do get a good amount of time out with the birds. Our guide was so nice and knowledgable, and you could tell she really loved and cared about the birds. She helped us get good photos and videos of us with the birds and made sure we had a great time. After our walk, she also let us hold a barn owl and took us into the aviary where all the other birds live. I loved this because you get to see and learn about a variety of gorgeous birds of prey. The birds all look really well taken care of, which is important to me whenever I participate in any kind of animal tourism. Dingle Falconry was by far one of the top highlights on our 8 day trip to Ireland and I would recommend it to anyone.

My husband & I had an amazing and truly unforgettable experience on the hawk walk experience offered at Kingdom Falconry in Dingle. Our guide was so knowledgeable about all the birds at the centre, her passion for them was so evident. Can’t recommend this experience enough, the birds are so magnificent up close.

From the moment we walked onto the property, we were made to feel as though we were visiting old friends. We learned so much information about hawks, owls, eagles. We were able to have them land on our arms to be fed and I was surprised at just how lightweight they were. Until we got to the big owl and the eagle! Holding them was easy but you could certainly feel their weight. It was an awesome experience that anyone who would be able to, should do. Perfect activity for younger children so they can learn and handle these amazing birds! Hoping to come back next year with grandchildren!! Kingdom Falconry was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Dingle. Eric and Emily were very friendly and educational. The experience of having huge birds of prey fly to your gloved hand, sit there and let you pet them was perfect. These majestic birds are well cared for and very well trained. So glad we didn't miss it!

This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Ireland! Emily was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and generous in sharing with us about their birds, and we learnt so much from her. She took great care to make sure the experience was comfortable for both us and the birds. The falcons and owls were incredibly well trained and having them fly to us and land on our outstretched hands was a priceless and not-to-be-forgotten experience. We also loved seeing the birds in the aviary and spending time learning about each of their characters! I highly recommend this experience and would not hesitate to visit them again.
