    Diva Exhibition
This is for the Diva Exhibition. My mum and I love the V & A museum (the toilets are quite hard to find!) it’s easy to get to on the tube and it’s such a lovely museum. The Diva Exhibition we spent about an hour in there, I thought it would be more “divaish” and a bit more sparkly and in your face, the headset your given is ok but fell off easily and didn’t pick up everywhere we went. The downstairs is the “older” divas, I really enjoyed this and learned a lot, it was interactive and lots of things to see, a little busy and lots of people in the way but you have to be patient. Upstairs was the “newer” divas. Some so new I hadn’t heard of them, I think the upstairs disappointed us the most, barely anything on Mariah, Celibe, Britney and zero on Christina Aguilera and I didn’t class Amy Whinehouse as a diva.overall I was a little disappointed and I thought a lot more could be included, especially upstairs.

Lots to see, very well done
I booked these tickets a while ago, we were both looking forward to seeing the exhibits. Well organised and laid out, the outfits were in great condition. My wife is a huge Chanel fan, I have learned about her by osmosis over the years, so it was interesting to see the real deal. The jewellery was stunning and I now have a lot to live up to for birthday gifts, oh dear. Great lunch in the restaurant, it was so busy, but food was good and it made more of the day. Huge success, my wife loved every second.

    An acquired taste
It's not the right museum for me, but I had a good time. Layout is really confusing, but you come across hidden pockets of delight. I recommend research ahead (which I did not do) to make the best of this historic site. Loved the lunch and the buzzing atmosphere.

    Favourite Museum in London
The V&A is my favourite museum in London. If you love design, textiles, jewellery and sculpture this is the boutique museum for you. The building itself is historically beautiful and they often have very interesting 'extra' shows. When I went in November I saw the Chanel event. It was amazing. Extremely well done and well-paced so I didn't feel that too many people were being packed into the space. There was plenty of time to admire Chanel's gorgeous clothing and even a section where you could sit down and view many of her iconic suits - the colours were a delight.

    Chanel Manifesto exhibition
The displays were amazing, overall an impressive collection. I found the rooms too dark and overcrowded. I understand that V&A wanted as many people as possible to be able to visit the collection but I had to queue for half an hour past my entry time.

    Huge museum
Visited the V&A one afternoon whilst on a trip to London recently, it wasn't somewhere I would've chosen personally but my partner wanted to visit so off we went. The first thing you can't help but notice is how absolutely massive it is and how slightly confusing the layout is. My partner had a couple of specific things he wanted to see so we were able to find those but after that is just an endless maze of large rooms filled with a variety of objects. Some rooms I could quite happily have just given a cursory glance at and walked through quite quickly, it entirely depends on your interests of course but for me, there's only so many status I can look at before I find it gets a little repetitive. Other rooms were filled with all sorts of interesting bits, including items I wouldn't have thought I'd find interesting! It was much quieter than the other large museums we had visited during our a stay so it was a nice escape from the bustling crowds and noise. We only spent about two hours here as we'd been on our feet all day and were getting pretty tired and we barely even scratched the surface so if this is the type of place you want to really explore I would recommend at least a full day, if not more, in order to see everything. The building itself is very grand and any military/war enthusiasts won't want to miss the bomb damage to the exterior walls at the side entrance.

    A museum worth visiting
I highly recommend a walk around this museum. Entry is complementary and you are truly transported to the times of all the pieces prominently displayed. There are many different types of art in here all evoking some emotion and making it the perfect place to stop by if you are in central London.

    Beautifully Curated
Beautifully curated as always at the V&A. Five stars for the people who work so hard on these amazing exhibitions. The disappointing part was the over crowding in some parts of the exhibition. At pinch points where the audience had to travel to different areas, through something like a corridor, there was a wall of information, pictures etc., which obviously people wanted to stop and read, thereby causing congestion and frustration for others. It also meant that if people did stop to read the information they would be aware of others being frustrated too. These popular exhibitions, vastly over subscribed need to be available for a longer period and in a larger space. This isn't the first time i have had this experience sadly.

Like having a nosy in a very wealthy auntie's attic
So many interesting things to see. Lots of variation. Suggest NOT going on Friday lates, as it was quite crowded. The cafe with its beautiful rooms is worth a visit on its own, and the gift shop also has some unique finds. Glad I've gone. Would have stayed longer, but was driven out by the heat. It was not that cold out, yet the heat must have had it at well over 27C in there.

    An inspirational exhibition
My daughter and I visited the Chanel exhibition, it was a wonderful display of so many varied garments created by the truly inspirational designer. We thought the garments were displayed to their best advantage and we could see very closely the detailed stitching and designs. It’s one of the very best exhibitions I’ve seen at the V&A. Thank you so very much for giving us the opportunity to see such magnificent garments. We bought the book to remind us of our day out and will treasure it and our experience.
