We're guessing they don't have a werewolf problem in Koh Phangan, because every month on the full moon, thousands of people take part in the Full Moon Party's all-night festivities, including music on the beach. People visit Surat Thani because it's the gateway to so much of Thailand's beauty, especially its Gulf Coast islands. From here, you'll be able to visit Ko Phangan (an island best explored via motorcycle), Ko Samui (known for marvellous beaches and waterfalls) and the 42 rainforest islands of Ang Thong National Marine Park.
