Welcome to the tourist information located in Honningsvag. Honningsvag is a town in the municipality of Nordkapp which is located on the island Magerøya. With Honningsvag as the town centre, Magerøya also includes four picturesque fishing villages which we highly recommend you to visit: Skarsvag, Gjesvær, Kamøyvær and Nordvagen. North Cape is our main attraction and it's the northernmost point in Europe that can be reached by car. Population: 3,219. Area, municipality: 924 km² Location: Honningsvag Harbour, in the centre of Honningsvag.

The North Cape Museum is a local heritage museum which presents the local history from the Stone Age to modern times. The permanent exhibition goes over two floors and focuses on the development of the local society in an international context. The various themes in our permanent exhibition touches upon several topics, such as the destruction of Honningsvåg and Finnmark during WW II and the reconstruction of the town during the late 40's and the early 50's.

Just two kilometres off the main road to the North Cape is the picturesque fishing village of Kamøyvær. The idyllic setting and opportunity to meet the artist make the detour well worthwhile. A visit can easily be combined with a trip to the North Cape.

The municipality’s oldest building, constructed in 1885. After WWII it was home for the population while the remaining buildings were reconstructed.

A group of nesting cliffs in the form of an archipelago with almost a hundred islands of all different sizes. One of the largest puffin colonies in North Norway with other species such as gannets, white-tailed eagles, auks, eider ducks, great cormorants, fulmar petrels and Arctic skuas. There are approx. 2 million nesting birds on the island. Bird safari around the nesting cliffs daily during the summer months

Perleporten kulturhus is located in the heart of Honningsvåg and is a warm and cozy venue that used to be a christian meetinghouse in the good old days! In the mainfloor we have a stage where we play the show Our northernmost life. For upcoming shows and tickets look up our facebookpage Our Northernmost life. In the basement (enter from Sjøgata) we have a bar where we sell local beer in a great atmosphere with a beautiful view. In the building nextdoor (enter from Storgata) we have a brewery and a breweryshop where u can buy our own beer! Heartly welcome!
