Basically the place is nice and a little nostalgic especially at the lobby area. The room was old and the bed sheets were sandy. overall we had a good stay and my boy enjoyed the pool which 2 of us and my wife enjoyed it too. Don't bothered swimming at the beach cause rubbish and plastics were noticeable everywhere.

My family of 5 stayed in 2 connecting rooms last week for 4 nights and we enjoyed our visit to Kota Kinabalu and the surrounding areas very much. Seaside is a no frills but a comfortable family managed inn that provides value for your money. It is located not too far from the airport and other attractions. We moved around...

We used a family room for one night in December for 4 people. There was one double bed, a single bed and an extra matress on the floor. We used the room upstairs in the restaurant, it was nice to have the ocean view from the room, however as people sit on the deck next to the room to eat,...

Stayed here for 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year 2015 as a solo mature traveller. It was my third stay in the last 12 years. If you are looking for a throbbing up beat resort then STI is not for you. To start with it's in Kinarut some 20k (12 miles) outside Kota Kinabalu with only mini buses and/or...

The location is not that far from Lokawi and Papar town. Its by the side of the road to catch a bus. But it is also very quiet by the beach. Which is great. The view by the beach in the evening is wonderful. There is a swimming pool and tv area. The room was cosy, the tv is old...

Stayed here as last night of intrepid trip. Hung out by the beach and relaxed with some beers before a really great bbq. Beach is really dirty and full of rubbish which is a huge shame but sunset views were lovely. It is a long way from KK but good for access to airport. Staff all very friendly and welcoming.

This is a budget style hotel wth various room configurations. I was here with a group and in general we fund the rooms clean and tidy. Remembering this is Malaysia and the have different standards to Australia, so yes some rust marks and stained grout, mismatched tiles etc but certainly clean enough. James is an amazing host. He managed to...

I was really worried about staying here after the reviews. It was better than expected. The beach is no different than those in Mexico. We all walked on it and it was fine. The food was excellent with great views. The staff was very helpful in organizing transportation to the airport. I really don't see why anyone would stay in...

This is a pleasant place to stay after a long road trip. Located in Kinarut, just south of Kota Kinabalu. Has a restaurant and a nice relaxing pool which was refreshing on a hot day. Beach attracts a lot of rubbish so wouldn't swim in it, but the views and sunsets are spectacular on a good day. Accommodation was reasonably...
