This is by far the cleanest motel I have stayed in, in the last couple of years. The Inn keeper is very gracious, friendly and kind. Rooms have been renovated and you will be very comfortable here. All the bedding is new, towels are plush and rooms are spotlessly clean. Rooms come with a small fridge should you need it. There is no blow dryer so bring your own. I found the furnishings had a mid century modern look so very appealing. The hotel is on the edge of Meaford so you will need to drive to eat.
Clean rooms... newly renovated... furniture a tad dated but who cares these rooms are immaculate. Best part... no carpet... all laminate or vinyl plank. New tiled bathrooms. Pristine clean tubs sink and toilet. The rooms not only look clean they smell clean. I stayed in rooms 15 ,7 and 8 Best stay in meaford I will never stay anywhere else.
We were visiting my sister and got voted off the island for the weekend because too many of her kids and their partners and the kids kids showed up so there was no room left at her house. We picked the Bay-Vue based on its location and its reviews. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there were no noise issues. If you want Frette linens and posh toiletries, this is not the place for you, but the price/value/hospitality analysis earns the Bay-Vue a 5/5.
It’s about time we wrote a review on the Bay Vue Motel. We’ve been staying here for over 20 years and have never had a complaint about cleanliness, noise or anything else. Highly recommended. Herm and Carol Mississauga
On one hand, the price in early October was fine. On the other hand, if you stay here, you are completely dependent on your car to visit restaurants and attractions which Meaford has to offer. Our room was clean but quite ordinary.
