Everything about Roebuck, the owners Harry & Gerry, the amenities, the sites, the pool, proximity to Georgian Bay, and more is why I whole-heartedly recommend this family-owned and operated campground!

The lots are not maintained which meant that we had to clean it. The firepit still had ashes left in it from previous campers. Any game sights were not maintained so there was not much for kids to do. There were too many golf carts and the fumes from them left you gasping for air. There was a music night with two boring entertainers of such. The platform they stood on was on the ground level with a firepit right in front of the singers. The rest of the seating area was on a slope leaving a hill for the people to place the chairs to sit on. Very dangerous possibility of falling backward down the hill. We tried to sit but ended up standing with our chairs in hand. We were booked for 8 days but could not get away fast enough. The people are nice and helpful but the overall park condition was poor.

Stayed here for 5 nights in July 2017. We had a full service, pull through site. The site was on a slope but it was fine for levelling the trailer. Trees in front of our site but open on both sides. Most sites are seasonal here and the owners, who live onsite, were very friendly and helpful. The campground has a pool and the grounds were nicely maintained. No wifi available. We had a problem with the breaker on our electrical post which needed to be changed but it was fixed very quickly when brought to the owner's attention. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would stay here again.

About 6 miles from Meaford, this campground is quiet, with no road, rail or aircraft noise. It is mostly seasonals, but most of them are in good condition. The roads are fairly narrow and are dirt, but while some muddy spots, they are in reasonable condition. Navigating a big rig requires some attention, but I maneuvered our 41' 5th wheel and dually without any problem. We were in site #4, which is a long pull through with 50 amps and full services. The site sloped down from back to front, but did have a section in the middle that was level. Power was good, but water was on a boil water advisory, however we were supplied a large bottle of water on arrival and additional bottles were available from the office. We had a clear view of the satellites. They have large green spaces for sports, a small swimming pool, kids playground, and covered area for picnic tables. All in all an enjoyable 5 night stay. The owners/managers are very pleasant and live at the entrance by the office.
