Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have just returned home after 3 nights at the Strand Inn @Inch. We really enjoyed our stay with our dog Holly. If you are looking for a dog friendly hotel then I would recommend the Strand Inn. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.Thank you to Antonio for accommodating us in room 5 with the balcony, the view was amazing. We ate breakfast every morning and dinner every evening and contarary to the reviews on here we cannot fault one thing we ordered.Staff were always friendly and courteous. Big thanks to Giovanni and staff in the kitchen for the Sicilian treats they created for us to sample. Gerard kept us well entertained when we dined outside. We will definatly be returning hopefully by then Gerard will be back playing music and we can catch the live show.

Have eaten here, twice over the last few weeks. FIrst time was just for tea and pancakes. I have to say there were delicious. Then had lunch another day. Had the Tuna Melt, chicken wings and chicken gougons. All were lovely. Just with the Tuna Melt, I did like the 'easy singles' cheese slices in it. Eat outside both times and thought it was lovely there. Maybe a few umbrellas would not go astray when it is very hot. But I will certainly return

Stopped here for lunch , looks fab from the outside, well kept, beautifully painted colours , amazing views. We got a great window seat. Window could be cleaned. Staff indifferent, extremely disappointed, informed by staff, menu we received, was not serving seafood chowder , and that hake and the menu was now sea bass, very surprised no other local fish on the menu . A lot of food deep fried. Had ravioli, disappointing. My husband had burger and chips, chips were awful. Decor inside has a lot to be desired, brown walls. Needs to be spruced up and cleaned. Won’t be back

Ate here for evening meal, food bland, not very well cooked. Staff seemed very indifferent or just not that interested. Not all staff wearing masks, not very comfortable experience, won’t go back again.

Hi! We stayed in the SeaFront Inn last two nights! We had deluxe double room which we found very clean and nice. Bathroom was also very clean. I have to say that the views from the room are amazing. Hotel is nicely situated at the Inch Beach, it can’t be any closer to the beach :) Staff very friendly, you feel like you’re being guest at their own house not at the hotel :-) big thank you to Sharon. We will defo come back for a weekend.

Was there last Sat with my son hurling on the beach, while other were surfing, other playing music and other just swimming. Great restaurant at the beach with a hut selling ice-cream and drinks. The store sells beach equipment, visitor items and general store treats. Highly recommend for family day out. Plenty of parking in carpark. Cars can park on beach.

We have just visited this lovely hotel for a family holiday with elderly parents. We had three rooms and they were all impeccably clean. We stayed in room 5 ourselves which had a double and single with a separate seating area and balcony which had a stunning sea-view. We cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality and kindness. Yes this is on a busy road and parking is on the other side but we managed without any hassle each day to get two ladies in their eighties safely into and out of the car. The breakfast is wonderful. Go full Irish. This hotel would suit all ages, great location, warm friendly team and for gin lovers they serve Dingle Gin and stock Fever tree! We highly recommend and this will not be our only visit. Rachel and Frank

Totally brilliant stay. The hotel is in an amazing location. The service was absolutely top notch. The team here could not have been more helpful or hospitable. We came with elderly Mums and they couldn’t have been kinder to them catering to every request. The breakfast deserves a very large mention. It was delicious everyday. We highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely be returning again very soon. Rachel
