The heating is absolutely not enough, for a place like this. All of my clothes are wet and i'm sick as hell. This place built for the hiking, or skiing persons. They must dry their stuffs, in any case. It's kind of impossible here. Anyway, the rest room and the kitchen is good.

Easy to access, parking is behind the building. Costs 5 EUR extra. We had a 4 single bedroom with private bathroom. Everything was okay. The bathroom was clean and the beds comfortable. Room was very spacious. Kitchen is also well equipped. Nice and pleasant stay. Also, this is the perfect location for the Rysy mountain.

We stayed in a 2-bed room with my brother. It's a bit old, but decent, clean and simple, which I liked very much. The shared bathroom was renovated and also clean. The wifi signal was solid, the kitchen was well-equipped. Some other rooms were being re-fitted during our stay, so I guess the bulding is being refurnished step by step. The staff was very friendly and good mannered. It's ideal for nature enthusiasts, hikers, outdoorsy families. I highly recommend it, as it is very affordable, and is in a good location. If you want luxury then you can spend 10 times more at a luxury hotel, but for 1 night there you can stay here for almost 2 weeks...

We loved our stay. Had our own room with kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean, comfy, and had everything you needed. The location is ideal, about 2-4 minutes walk to the lake and Strbske Pleso serves many mountain walking tracks. One thing that really meant a lot to us was the time taken by the man running the place (sorry I didn’t catch a name) to give us some valuable suggestions on how best to spend our time. He also recommended the best restaurant Furkota, which was cheap, great food and a cosy welcoming feel. All in all, a great place. The price was right for us and we got everything we needed.

Probably the only budget option in Strbske Pleso. As other reviews said, it's not very inviting on the outside. Also, it's very basic, the WiFi is unstable (when we were there they was no working WiFi on the 4th floor) and accoustics are not too good... However, the staff are helpful (the room we've received smelled of smoking, even though all of the hostel is clearly marked as no smoking...) And they've replaced our room willingly. The shared kitchen was very good (and we made good use of it) and the bathroom was excellent! To sum it up, it's a budget option, in a place where all other options are a lot more expensive, and as such, it's good.

Excellent and must-go place! It is possible to go up to the mountain by the cablecar, and you can practice skying or snowboard there. The view is awesome! There are restaurants and you can rent sports materials there. You neee to pay a value to entry and use the cablecar, but it is not so expensive

This 'hotel' is absolutely fine so long as you don't go in with lofty expectations. It it ideally situated in Strbske Pleso, and we even had a nice mountain view. The building is somewhat dodgy looking and the reception area doesn't do much to dispel this feeling. Rooms are large but not clean and our shared bathroom didn't have a lock or a real shower, only a bath with handheld shower. Each pair of bedrooms does seem to have a kitchenette though for some reason, although this is not something we actually. Overall, if you are a budget backpacker looking for the cheapest option, it's fine, but if your standards are any higher, I'd stay away.
