My husband and I have just spent 2 nights here, all I can say is wow. This really is a beautiful property with wonderful, friendly attentive staff, nothing is ever too much trouble. The views from up there are spectacular and the property is very well manicured with a highlight of it being a bird sanctuary, the birdsong is amazing....

We left Huka Lodge Friday morning, another Relais & Château property, and made our way to Cape Kidnappers that evening- It was a long day and long drive so finding the property was not easy, it's hidden behind a simple gate along a road- Once entering it's about a 15 minute drive up to the property, I am so glad...

Tremendous place. this was our second lodge in a trio that is owned by one man> Beautiful area and good public areas for socializing, including a comfortable board game and tv room and if lucky a dinner in the snug like were able to book. Food and beverage up to a relais and chateaux level but the evening service was...

The farm-themed design and décor of this magnificent lodge’s rooms and public spaces is rustic, imaginative, and sophisticated, imparting a wonderful sense of comfort and well-being. The main dining room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, looks out onto the lawn and garden, and sea beyond. The blazing sunset we witnessed during the dinner hour one evening topped the list of dramatic...

Owned by the same people as The the Lodge at Kauri Cliffs this did not disappoint. We were not as lucky with the weather here ( it had been 26C at Kauri Cliffs). However the service was again excellent. My husband was keen to visit the gannet colonies and was taken down (and collected) whenever he wanted to photograph them....

At the recommendation of a friend who loved his stay and the golf course, we drove up and had very pleasant chat with the golf pro. On the way back we went up to reception at the Lodge to ask if we could have a look at a lunch menu and the restaurant. The duty manager told us that there...

If you're looking to escape the usual and completely pamper yourself head out to this beautiful tip of New Zealand. See the rare Gannet (without having to take a long ride as there at the tip of the property), enjoy fine dining, luxurious accommodations far from the masses.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the property even though we are not golfers. I definitely recommend the Kiwi experience, during which we tracked and weighed a brown Kiwi chick that was realized in the wild. Most New Zealanders have never even seen a Kiwi, let alone held one. Another highlight was the CanAm farm...
