We decided to have lunch in the hotel restaurant. They offer a buffet lunch which I thought was very average. The entrées were most vegetables with little to no meat. The wonton doup was delicious. They serve beer and wine.

There are few hotels in Phrae and we stopped when we saw it.Expensive at even 900 bt with breakfast! Very dated and staff most unwelcolming, restaurant outside only and Ok but pricey. Rooms were ok , bath type shower and struggling air con, breakfast reasonable #We didn't try the pool but a lot of non residents did. Live music but...

By Thailand standards, this place is outrageously priced for what you get. 1650 baht for a run-down room in a very outdated hotel. On the bright side, the shower/tub had hot water, and the air-con worked well. The staff seemed nice, normal. The pool area looked ok too. Didn't do anything else there as it was a bit old smelling...

One night stop on the way to Chiang Rai. Our room overlooking the kitchen and priced at 1,600 baht was expensive by Thai standards. For dinner we had a choice of eating in the open air restaurant or going somewher else as it was very cold. We ate in an excellent restaurant directly accross the road. Breakfast was somewhat limited...

We stayed at the Mae Yom Palace Hotel for one night in room 508 on our OAT tour in December. The room was relatively quiet, a good size and came with 4 “fake” hangers, refrigerator, old style TV, 2 oddly placed chairs with a table, desk, and luggage rack. The bathroom had an awkward (and potentially dangerous) step down and...

This hotel was far posher than the normal accommodation we frequent. However, we got off the bus (it's right near the bus station) and popped in to enquire about prices. They gave us a special offer which proved no more expensive than the guest houses we normally pay for. Staying at the hotel was a luxury and a real treat....

This is an interesting, older hotel. Pretty basic. Be sure to bring your own wash cloth, because none is furnished. They were refurbishing the main restaurant, so we ate outdoors, which was just fine. Breakfast was fine.

This is, by some margin, the most expensive hotel in Phrae. However it made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and there is a nice swimming pool, big enough to do some proper swimming at the back fo the hotel. Its location is fantastic for access to the bus station that connects Phrae with...

I'm surprised to read that other reviews have said this is a central hotel - perhaps they didn't discover the old part of town! The hotel is very close to the bus station and is on the main road to Phitsanulok. There are a few coffee shops, one large restaurant and a large high school close by, but mostly there...
