This place is the best, by far the highlight of my trip!!! They did every single thing right, 110% right! First a van filled with about 12 of us total picked me up from my San Jose hotel. Then we drove to a breakfast spot. It was a traditional Costa Rican breakfast ordered for you already with eggs, fruit, rice...

Pacure is a secluded lodge in the rainforest along the Pacure River in the southeastern part of Costa Rica. We arrived by whitewater rafting our way in will our skillful guide, what a blast and no experience necessary. The staff is multi-talented... our waiter for dinner that evening turned out to be our river guide! They are all so charming,...

Just returned from our 9 day trip to Costa Rica and Pacuare Lodge was definitely the highlight. This is an ecolodge that is surrounded by nothing but the Pacuare River and the surrounding rainforest. The lodges were spectacular. If you can afford to splurge, you can't go wrong with the Linda Vista suites. They are a little walk up the...

From the timely pickup at our hotel in San Jose to the knowledgeable rafting guides to the sumptuous meals overlooking the river to the luxurious and romantic private bungalow, this was paradise. Every staff person not only knew our names but knew what our itinerary was for the day and took our order for our next meal before the current...

I booked two nights here with the whitewater rafting to and from the lodge to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I would go back in an instant -- while there is wifi available in the main lodge area, it's rare to find a place where you can truly disconnect. I spent a full hour staring at the trees, watching toucans and...
