We are regulars at Frans Indongo, this being our fifth visit over the years. The lodge has a special place in our memories for friendly management and staff and this time was no exception. Astrid and Alf were on leave but it was so nice to be recognised and welcomed by name by John and Louise as we checked in....

Sitting 17 km off the main road, this lodge is well appointed. Even though the staff apologised that we had one of the smaller rooms, it was still bigger than many other places. The bathroom had a double shower although the bed, whilst I found it good, my wife found it very firm. The dinners are a set menu so...

This was one of many amazing lodges we stayed at during a recent roadtrip around Namibia. The setting was picture perfect, with an abundance of game on the savannah that bordered to the lodge, preferably watched from the huge wooden deck. The chalets were modern and comfortable with free wifi. The dinner consisted of a set menu, with a few...

We made a 3 weeks tour through Namibia and the Frans Indogo Lodge was the best we visited: It was clean, well maintained, working WIFI, good service as well as good food. Congratulations to the management, Alf is doing a very good job!

The manager John is just the most accommodating person on earth, he was such a pleasure and showed us around perfectly. Even though we stayed at the campsite, we were fully allowed to use the bar deck and pool - what a wonderful extra that was! The view is amazing with animals literally eating and drinking at your feet. We...

Such a beautiful lodge. Stunning design, gardens, pool, rooms all absolutely beautiful. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and he food is delicious. Perfectly cooked game steak with lovely fresh homemade bread. The game drive for that evening was fully booked when we arrived but we'd come down from Etosha so it was no big deal. Sat on the...

Superb accommodation in beautiful grounds. Great food with friendly service Not much wildlife to be seen but excellent place to relax & unwind. The rooms are very well designed with lots of nice touches such as an umbrella in the room. The ONLY negative is because of the design of the lodges with low thatching it is very easy to...

We stayed one night here in August. Service was superb and our thatched bungalow spacious and lacking nothing. We had one small problem, when the hot water in our room failed, but we were instantly offered another room to use, which ended up being unnecessary, as the management fixed the problem so quickly. Superb food and friendly staff contributed to...

We spent several weeks in Namibia, on the way south from Etosha we spent the night here. It felt green and luxurious after traveling in the desert. Great places to hang out and relax- pool and deck overlooking game reserve. Best of all was an area for hiking, which we were desperate for after being stuck in a car in...

We recently stayed one night at the Frans Indongo Lodge prior to returning to Windhoek at the end of our trip to Namibia. Our reservation was made many months in advance through the travel agent we worked with, Discover Namibia Safari & Tours, who recommended this establishment given its proximity to the Cheetah Conservatory Fund (CCF). Frans Indongo is located...
