We are a young couple living our dream in a little paradaise inside the Costa Rica rainforest. We moved from the City to this little piece of heaven on 2014 with the idea to change our lifes. Now we produce part of the food we eat every day, we are reforesting big part of the farm, and living and enyoing every day in the Woods. We love to share our home with people around the world. Our mountain is perfect If you are looking fo a private place for relaxing involved of a natural enviroment. The setting in the middle of the rainforest is pretty cool. The cabins are basic but clean. Beds in our opinion were comfortable. We had a family cabin which had a small kitchen area. We didn't cook there. Having a fridge was useful. It's like camping but with a permanent structure over your head. Covid times. Our kids (mine and my friend amd her son travelling with us) enjoyed the games in the outdoor covered lounge area (chess, Jenga). There is Wifi only near the eating and lounge areas at the moment. The BEST and most special part, though, are the hosts. Jay and Nohelia are absolutely attentive to their guests. Jay showed the kids many frogs at night. The boys loved it! In the morning, they put out fruit for the birds, and they are very knowledgeable about them. We enjoyed learning about the different species while eating breakfast. The kids were tired from our main day in La Fortuna so we didn't do the nature walk, but I imagine it is great because of their knowledge and friendliness. We had dinner there both nights along with breakfast. The food can't be beat. My 9-year old loved it! Nohelia would talk to us about possible meals she could make, mostly using their own fresh organic ingredients grown and raised on the property. A great place if you have certain dietary needs. This is a very neat Costa Rican experience staying here. Be sure to have cash on hand when you pay (USD or Colones).

This place was INCREDIBLE. I had the most peaceful, beautiful experience here at a time when I really needed it. Nohe and Jay are THE BEST hosts, truly the kindest, most generous people. Nohe gave me delicious fruit and prepared a delicious breakfast of waffles in the morning as well as told me many great recommendations for the best places to visit in the area. Jay took me on a tour of the property and farm which I highly recommend! They have done so much work to create this beautiful place, including planting 2,500 trees! A genuine embodiment of the pure vida lifestyle. A place with beautiful vibes and transformative energy. You will feel good here, you are taken care of. I am so glad I came here and I highly recommend to all. I will be back if I return to costa rica as I hope to! :)

First of all, Jay and Noelia are amazing hosts and such a sweet couple. They greeted us and explained everything we needed to know about the room and the whole site and spent a lot of time sitting down with us and giving us great tips about things to do and see in the area and beyond. Their finca is absolutely gorgeous and quite isolated (you'll need a good car to get there). There's a beautiful observation post to view the surrounding forest and you can watch wild birds and frogs from the dining area. If you enjoy sleeping with the sound of flowing water, definitely ask for room number 4. We had our best sleep in two weeks! Simple yet super clean and comfortable accommodations with great taste. All the food is home made with ingredients either produced on the farm itself or from neighboring farms. Very highly recommended, especially if you're starting your Costa Rica trip.

The place was calm, quiet, beautiful, comfy. It was truly a pleasure. We arrived and immediately decided to stay an extra night. We were pleased we arrived on our last two days in Costa Rica as if we had got there at the start of our trip we would not have left to see anywhere else. The hosts are extremely lovely people and very welcoming. They are happy to show us around the property and we learnt a lot. A bonus was while we were being shown around we were collecting the food they cooked us as all is grown on the property. We will be going back next year specifically to stay at this place again, Thanks guys for an amazing time at your beautiful place. Chris and Nina :)
