We have just returned from a week at the Sapphire. We stayed with our friends who own a timeshare week. The rooms are presentable but the beds are the worst. They need to upgrade the mattresses; they're very uncomfortable. The staff was OK. The service at the bar was slow; the food was average. Overall I would say this property...

We used our Hilton Grand Vacation club points to stay here, and we were happy to get a place in St. Martin over the new year holiday on trade, so we can't complain. Some of the folks we met by the pool that have stayed other places on the island were happy to spend $320 per night here and others...

This place is a dump. We walked in the room and the smell was strong while the roaches ran for cover. Bring your VHS tapes and wait 15 minutes for the TV to warm up. It was a flashback to the 80's and not in a good way. The room has VCR's still. The dishwasher racks were rusted and had...

NEVER, EVER STAY AT THIS RANCID EXCUSE FOR A HOTEL!!!! . I traveled with a co-worker on a business trip and we stayed for three nights. It was a disaster from the get-go! I had two confirmation numbers for our two rooms, but they had to dig for half an hour to find one of the rooms on their list....

My boyfriend and I just returned from a one-week trip to St. Martin, where we stayed at the Wyndham. After reading most of the reviews on this site, I was a bit worried about what we would get when we arrived at the hotel. I work as a manager for a large hotel chain the US, so although I have...

My husband and I used our timeshare for an exchange to this property in St Maarten. Loved it. We checked in and were brought to our room # 320. It was a corner unit so we had the beach view, side sunset view, and lagoon view. It was a 1 bdrm and it was very nice. The air didnt seem...

Just got back from the Sapphire. There were some positives and more negatives to this place. When it is called a "beach club", I thought I would have beautiful Caribbean beaches. This was not the case however, there is hardly any beach! The location was terrible. There is nothing within walking distance. The safe in my room did not work...

I have read all the good and bad on this resort and thought I should add our experience. The Sapphire is dated and certainly in need of updating and is not of 5 star quality. Having said that, they do not charge 5 star rates and as prices go, the large rooms, nice pool area and spectacular view make for...

We had stayed here before. It was ok then. However this time nothing worked, the Air Conditioning was broken for two days and two long nights , the plumbing (sinks backed up, toliets having to be flushed over an over, the jacuzzi never worked.) It was such a inconvience for the staff to just answer the front desk phone, much...

Sorry to say, this was a dump. We are Hilton timeshare members, who can rent through RCI. When we checked in, the room we were given hadn't been cleaned. There is no on site housekeeping or maintiance, so nothing could be cleaned. (the room was obviously filthy...trash left, dirty toilets, unmade beds, dozens of towels on the floor, overall just...
