Very friendly staff, nice, cozy cottage. Canoes and rowboats available. You can row to one of the many islands in Saimaa and have a nice picnic there. Not many services nearby, but great for Outdoor activities.

We liked our stay here very much.
Staff is pleasant. Breakfast is very good.
For us it was a good stop on our return way to Lappeenranta.
Disadvantage: not many interesting places around hostel. Forests and private cottages.
There is one nice bridge - it is very good viewpoint.

Be careful with the owner of this hotel — Joris. I made an advance payment for accommodation, but could not arrive due to force majeure circumstances. This wasn't my fault. I warned the owner in advance, but he pretended that he had not received the message, and then said that I had not arrived in order not to return the money. This is very similar to a lie. I want to warn you not to lose your money: DO NOT pay an advance.

I do not recommend it at all. Everything was untidy and we were treated by the staff as if we were idiots. The man who was there has skeak to us in a very rude way and makes us feel really unconfortable. We even decided not to stay and went somewhere else
