Hôtel Montgomery was a really nice surprise in our trip. The hotel is quite close to Mont Saint-Michel (about 10-minute drive). But the hotel itself is worth a look. The 16th century staircase is impressive and full of character. We had a small split level room with the bathroom down a little staircase within the room. The whole thing was...

This hotel was a pleasant surprise in the small town of Pontorson. We had a modern room in a 16th century building. I room was clean and crisp. The en suite bath was down a flight of stairs within the room. It was a modern, clean well equipped bath, but a difficult climb in the middle of the night. The...

This is not a new property – it was the private home of Gabriel de Montgomery in the 16th century – and as such is an incredible place. Friendly, helpful staff – English speaking – with flat screen TV with English channels. Obviously old décor – but modern bathrooms with all amenities including hairdryer. Tea/coffee making facilities. No safe. Free...

We had booked this quite in advance and added a night - the adult couple were put in a quaint room - newly refurbished. Unfortunately I requested a bath specifically but would have had to pay another 100Euro just for a bath. My room was very small and dated but lovely comfortable bed made up for the room. Mon Petit...

Okay, the room is small but the hosts are so friendly, the hotel has so much character and the in-room bathrooms so surprisingly up-to-date! That it was perfect. We opened our windows and had a lovely, comfortable cool breeze. The elevator is small so took us a couple trips to get our luggage to the room. Parking is on the...

In an old mansion, the owners (Mr. & Mrs. PETIT) will do everything to let you feel at home. The hotel is well-runned, staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean with modern amenities (ours had a bathroom with enormous jacuzzi). Breakfast is a nice start of the day. Some good places for lunch and/or dinner in the nearby...

I stayed in this Hotel as part of an Insight Vacations bus tour in August 2011. It was built in 1526 and the original wooden staircase is still in use today!!!!! What an absolutely truly wonderful experience it was to stay in this unique piece of French history. I and every other member of the Insight tour thoroughly enjoyed the...

A charming old world hotel in the interesting township of Pontorson, close to the magnificent abbey of Mont St Michel. The cosy entry and bar were lined in timber with a wide carpeted staircase leading to our room on the first floor. Our very small room was clean and comfortable with a view to the courtyard below where our group...

Charming hotel, great value. Ideal for a one night stay. Decor in the communal areas is quite old world wood/hunting lodge. The rooms are a little dated in decor, but perfectly clean. Service and reception very welcoming. For a quick weekend trip to Normandy, this is well located and close to Mont St Michel.
