We stayed at Cley Hall for two nights during perfect spring weather, and had a lovely room overlooking the garden. The decor is very pleasantly designed, and the standards of hygiene excellent. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were courteous, friendly and approachable. The town is interesting too...definitely worth a visit!

We had never been to Spalding before, so en route from Cheshire to Norwich we opted to stay in Spalding for the night. We were driving down High Street, alongside the river and drove past the hotel, unable to turn around due to the one way system we made our way back eventually and my it was so worth it!...

This hotel is ideally situated just a short walk away from the town square. The room we stayed in was elegant and had kept most of its Georgian charm. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good, and was cooked on demand. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for s short stay.

We arrived and found parking at the front of the hotel. On going in we were greeted by the manageress, a lovely lady, warm and friendly. Shown to our first floor room, which was delightful, large and nicely decorated. The manageress was happy to chat with us about the history of the hotel and its grounds. Room was lovely, nicely...

Took my mum for afternoon tea today and it was really lovely, we were very well looked after with plentiful tea and delicious food. The savouries were as delicious as the cakes; loving the new tortilla bites! From the fluffy scones with clotted cream to the delicate eclairs and meringue, everything was scrumptious. Well done team Cley Hall!

Hubby and I have stayed in this hotel twice. The rooms are a good size with large comfortable beds and are well lit. How often do hotel rooms lack sufficient lighting to read, put on make up etc? I wish more would follow suit. Staff members were all friendly and helpful on both our visits. Plenty of choice for breakfast...

On 13th February 2017 a party of 6 booked for "afternoon tea" to celebrate my sister's very special 70th birthday. The room we were sat in was freezing cold and very un-inviting. On complaining we were told the building was old so therefore cold!! Not exactly the answer we expected!

How very disappointed I am to read this review as I was under the impression that the matter had been resolved via email; The temperature and appearance of the room appears to have escalated since your email complaint. We have gone from lovely food and being so cold, to the whole experience as freezing and un-inviting. It seems highly unlikely...

We had an excellent room in the coach house; it was very spacious, with minibar, a huge bed and excellent bathroom. Breakfast was well cooked and there was a good choice. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Spent two nights here and didn't know it was a Four in a Bed winner. Lovely old building with uneven floors and a lovely formal garden, although too cold to venture out. Staff were friendly and helpful and even allowed us to keep our car there all day once we had booked out. Breakfast was very good with lots of...
