Spa is small but still enjoyed it and the weather made it batter as we could sit outside.i personally think it's over priced as you have to pay extra for some of the treatment. 32pound for bottle of wine and 10 pound for 3 cups of tea which were drank before afternoon tea as some people arrived earlier. Some of...

Visited the gardens, but was mistaken in looking for signs to the rose gardens, please just follow the gardens signs, and you will be rewarded. The ticket price is worth it so don't be daunted. A map of the area is provided. Still gaining in maturity it is a lovely place to spend a fine afternoon and follow with an...

I stayed here for two nights for a friends wedding and I was very impressed with the level of service. The staff are all lovely and the food great. Our room was nice and clean, the walk in shower was tremendous. The only down side was the ever present smell from the hordes, it was a hot day so I...

We visited Wynyard Hall for a friends wedding and stayed over for the night. This is the second wedding I have attended at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed both. We stayed in the Lady Theresa suite and the room was fantastic. Very large room with lovely comfortable bed, separate living area and very large bathroom. The staff very very friendly,...

I know that these days many places are promoting Afternoon Tea, but this one stands out for me. My wife is a big fan of your traditional english afternoon tea pepped up with a glass of Prosecco, so we've tried a few over the past couple of years. With that in mind I can tell you this was one of...

I stayed at Wynyard Hall for my birthday with my partner. The first day we spent the day in the spa, we had a massage each, 2 hours using the facilities and afternoon tea. The massage was very nice and the actual spa facilities are small but quiet so we never had to wait for anything. The outdoor Jacuzzi was...

Visited Wynyard Hall Gardens after seeing a write up in local paper (D&S). Firstly a coffee & scone in cafe, excellent. Sat having coffee we could see the garden & all the colour. On entering garden (very reasonable entrance fee) we were struck by the magnificent layout & colour. Wandering through we were amazed at the number of roses (3,000)...

We enjoyed the nicely landscaped gardens and pleasant modern cafe. Unfortunately, enjoyment of a pot of tea on the outside terrace was spoiled by some dire musak over the speakers. Why have musak playing in a garden environment? I spoke to the manager/supervisor about it and, to her credit, she apologised and explained that some customers had commented on the...
