The Brighton Savoy has a lot of positives: great location across from the beach, a short stroll to the colourful beach huts, about 10 min walk to Church Street with numerous cafes, restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful and the service prompt, and the rooms were spacious and clean and modern. The beds and pillows were good and we...

The bed was hard. The walls are thin. The housekeepers are loud very early in the morning. Apart from this lovely, private and very helpful at the desk. This motel is close to the bathing boxes and right across from beach. Apart from being woken up, this stay was fabulous!

We stayed here for two nights Had a wedding to attend in the hotel. The wedding reception was great .Full marks to the Hotel. But this is an expensive hotel and I would not recommend a stay due to the price. The breakfast menu is so expensive.and to be frank reminds you of the Hospital where I work...one tick for bread one tick...

We arrived very late but were made to feel very welcome by the staff. He didn't hesitate to help when asked if we could book a taxi for 7.30 the next morning. The room and bathroom are a good size with the bed being very comfortable. Great location.

Every NYE we spend with another couple at different venues around Melbourne. Our criteria is dinner-dance with a good band (tick for the Savoy), overnight accommodation at the venue (tick), secure car parking (tick), nice meal and wine included (tick), a party atmosphere (tick) and a thoroughly good time to be had (tick, tick, tick!) The Brighton Savoy has been...

Family of four stayed in a family room (queen and two singles). The room is small but adequate for one night. It would be hard if you wanted to do much more than sleep in the room, for example, play area for small children. The bathroom was clean but we had a bit of an ant infestation in the sink....

Stayed here for a wedding over the weekend. The food was delicious and the rooms comfortable (housekeeping needs to pay a bit more attention to detail) but what really made our stay were the staff! Everyone, & I mean every single staff member we met, we just so naturally friendy and helpful. Especially Jennifer the wedding Co-ordinator and Matthew our...

We were only here for 1 night as it was impossible to get 2 nights in a row at 5 days notice at this time of year. We were given a very warm welcome by the receptionist so this made up for some minor shortcomings of the hotel which were... The duvet protector had an obvious stain, found 2 live mossies...

The price for a room exceeds the value. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful but the food is very average and the general enemies are just adequate. The location is very nice but you need a car to get to good eateries and shops. It is a great monopoly position for the hotel. If possible avoid staying on Saturday nights...

We stayed at overnight again for the Carmans women's fun run (previously the Sussan Women's fun run). The rooms were clean neat and tidy- super comfortable beds. The mini bar only had long life milk, which had frozen. When we used them in our morning coffee it curdled. However room service quickly brought replacements. Plenty of towels, tissues etc. free...
