Unbelievable property with gracious and accommodating staff. Rooms are a bit dated but well kept and clean. We had some of the best food on our trip here at the lodge. Excellent wait staff. The grounds are gorgeous, you could spend the day just exploring them. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Dear Kristi Z, Thank you for the kind words. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay, and our hotel grounds. We recommend to our guests that they reserve at least a morning or an afternoon for exploring the gardens, swimming in our solar heated pool, and watching the forest move and change as the day progresses from one of...

We got lucky with a low season deal booking two nights and getting the third free otherwise it's likely we would have stayed elsewhere as this hotel normally would be way out of budget. So glad we snagged that deal! We were welcomed with fresh fruit drinks at check in which were great after the Jeep-boat-Jeep trip from La Fortuna....

It's probably the most expensive one in town but sure worth the money. Rooms are relatively small but nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant with decent food. But it's only a short walk to town and you can get a lot more varieties of local food. The hotel ground is nicely maintained, with hummingbirds buzzing around.

Spent two days at this hotel. The room was comfortable, with a main attraction of a triangular viewing window which wa great. We had a lot of activities outside the lodge, so we didn't have time to try the facilities. Hotel stuf were very polite and helpful.

We visited in Feb 2015. The service was friendly and the lodge is cozy. Our room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a little balcony which was nice in the day (too many bugs out there in the evenings for me). It was quite romantic!! The breakfast was great. A little pricey but you really get a good quality room and service for what you pay. Strong and hot water pressure, large rooms, very well made bathrooms, good breakfast selection, excellent and friendly staff with very good english capabilities.. and everything was very clean.
