We had rooms 8&9. Out the balcony, we tucans. There is a path up to top of rise, you can see the countryside. The food in the restraunt was amazing. Owner and family are super nice. There's also a path to the coffee beans. It was a really great place.

This hotel was clean and very comfortable with a fridge in the room. You can’t beat the price which also includes breakfast. Randall and his family bend over backwards to accommodate their guests. The entire family makes you feel like you are at home with them. Things to note is that the location is ten minutes from town on a bumpy gravel road. We didn’t mind it for a few days but it’s good to know. Although the hotel advertises hot water and WiFi in the room neither worked while we were there. We used the WiFi in the restaurant so that didn’t pose a problem for us. The cold shower was a little tougher. The family also has a very nice restaurant on site that serves very good food. We ate there several times during our stay. Randall also owns many acres of coffee beans on the adjacent property and allowed us to take a wonderful walk through to see the crops. It was really lovely. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much Randall for the wonderful stay.

we stayed four nights in Belcruz B & B in January 2020, and we were very happy With our stay. The cabin was very spacious and beautiful. The free breakfast was delicious. The hotel was not inside the town, so we were a little concerned first since we did not have a car, but it turned out that the hotel was very close to all tour places. Randall was so accommodating. He gave us a lot of great suggestions what to do and arranged all tours for us. We had awesome time. Randall and his family was always eager to help and provided us five star services. We highly highly recommend this place!

There are a few amazing things about this spot. First, the staff are absolutely wonderful. Second, the views of the sunsets were some of the best we had in CR. And finally, the price was right! That said, there were a few things we didn’t care for about this place. It was too far from town for us...the road is challenging so I would’ve preferred to spend less time on it. And you can hear the road noise at night. The room had no safe, nor did it have A/C. Monteverde is pretty high so it didn’t get super hot, but we were always too warm at night. Ultimately, I would characterize this as a really nice bargain hotel with a warm and helpful staff.
