This is a great escape where you can be close to good restaurants and activities while being surrounded by nature. You are literally among the treetops. We spent four nights and stayed in two different rooms. This worked well for both family members who wanted to go to sleep early and others who wanted to stay up reading and writing,...

Myself and my four sisters were very pleased with our stay at Tree Top House in Monteverde. Two sisters shared the large room with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony outside, and two shared one of the more basic rooms on the next floor. The larger room included a refrigerator, coffee maker, and phone. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable....

When we got to St. Elena, Guy (owner) came to meet us within about 5 minutes and took us through the town to the treetop house. The treetop house is nice and secluded with no neighbours, but still walking distance to some restaurants. We had originally booked the top 3 floors but got switched around to the bottom three which...

This was an excellent stay!! The house once was an art gallery that was converted into four rooms that overlook the forest in Monteverde. It is very private and clean, with lots of light and views of the incredible forest. The owners Guy and Sabine are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They provided many recommendations that were perfect...

We were 8 people and 3 generations traveling together. The TreeTop House was great because we could all stay together, but also all have a bit of privacy too. A lot more fun than just 4 generic hotel rooms. Besides, we put out papaya on the window sill and got an olingo to come visit us at night while we...

While recently visiting Monteverde my girlfriend and I rented the middle floor for two nights and were thrilled with the location and the uniqueness of the property. The owner Guy is very knowledgeable of the area and very helpful arranging any local activities. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Monteverde

We stayed for three nights in the room at the ground floor. The house is a nice place to stay if you don't miss the comfort of a four or five star hotel. As in most of the Costa Ricaean house the windows and doors are not 100 percent closed, so that you will find small flies or bugs within...

This is a great place to stay in Monteverde. There are 5 of us- myself and my husband and our 3 kids (6,9,11) and it's always hard to find a place that will accommodate all of us. This place as ideal! The kids loved being in a "tree house" and spent more time on the fabulous porch than in the...

Especially for large families w/children, I would highly recommend the TreeTop house in MonteVerde. It used to be an art store so it has many rooms on many levels that connect through stairs on the outside. There are great views from the 3 levels and the house is very unique. The children loved playing outside and you can actually hear...

This house is all about the view. I would call it a million-dollar view, but I’m guessing there are a fair amount of facilities with good views in Monteverde. Nonetheless, the view from the 2nd floor balcony is what sells this house – it overlooks a small valley. The house is very eclectic, and my extended family of 11 had...
