Only booked at the last minute traveling to the area to pick up a car. Read reviews on trip advisor and all seemed positive and at £95 for 2 people Bed and Breakfast seemed good value as it turned out it was VERY GOOD VALUE! Warm comfortable room and shower room looked to have been recently refitted. Tired after long...

We stayed here for 2 nights in the outside accommodation. The staff are friendly but the rooms are dated. Being in the accommodation outside means very noisy as this hotel is located on a vey busy main road. There is no fridge to put your own water in, however you are provided with a bottle of tap water. Shower is...

I had a mid-week overnight stay at this hotel which I have known for several years. it is much improved from its previous incarnation as The Cedars. I had a single room with adjoining wet room. It was beautifully appointed and my sole complaint was the draughty window - unsurprising for a listed building. The food at dinner time was...

| Stayed here for a couple of nights for work. Upon arrival it looked as if the booking had not gone through however the staff put me totally at ease and said they would sort out the problem. This they did in double quick time, very commendable. The room was very clean, tidy with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The food...

our party had a great welcome and a lovely meal to celebrate a big birthday. The children were well catered for with a not so small lunch and loved it. The sweet trolley was a great touch so we could choose our dessert!! Well done all and thanks.

We stayed here for a day whilst attending a Saturday function and were very grateful for the local recommendation. The room was bright, clean and warm...it was freezing outside. The food was excellent. Simple , good quality and well prepared. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and this contributed to an easy going atmosphere. Thank you very much.

The night before a friend's celebratory Sunday lunch I stayed at the Chalford House Hotel. My room was extremely comfortable with all the facilities I required. I had a delicious meal in the bar that evening and an equally delicious breakfast the following day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel as a lovely place...

It's been said an extended hotel stay on business can be a soul-destroying experience, but you and the staff at the Chalford made my 2 week sojourn there feel like home away from home. And you all graciously welcomed my wife when she arrived. So Linda and I would like to thank everyone there for helping us have a lovely...

We spent two nights at Chalford House Hotel, combining a family event with trips to Stonehenge and Salisbury Plain beauty spots. From start to finish, the staff at the hotel were professional yet friendly and did their utmost to make our stay a happy and memorable one; we could not fault them. The hotel itself was extremely clean, quiet and...
