If you are looking for a cheap accommodation, there are much better options. If you are looking for a good hotel go somewhere else. Derby is both very expensive for what you get, and bad news as a comfortable place to rest. Apart from its good location, these are some of the problems I experienced. Internet was not reliable. You...

Very good location. Metro facility at the door step. Good shopping plazas and restaurants are nearby. Beautiful park is closeby. Very clean. But not spacious for the rate per night. Top floor rooms are adjacent to laundry storage room. One room has window on the ceiling. I guess attic is converted into a room.

Fairly good central location and cheapish, but you can get much better for the same price. I stayed in an ensuite single room, it was a tiny box room, fairly clean but shabby interior - who knows when it was last decorated, noisy (very loud plumbing, constant sound of water rushing through the walls around the room), and I was...

I booked this hotel, but I did not see it, because when I arrived there I showed my booking number and the receptionist (or the owner, I do not know) told me, in a very unkind way, that there was no room, because after my booking a group came from Germany, which was bigger than expected, and he gave them...

Well, not sure where to start with my comments. There is just an entrance, a hall way (very narrow) and a lift for one (very small). I have stayed in some poor hotels around the world mainly in third world countries, but this beats most. The shower was brown with dirty and mould, the toilet could not be used as...

I'm very sorry that I didn't check tripadvisor before staying in this hotel. I've stayed in many hotels in many countries and this was definitely the worst. Room was full of holes and cracks and only thing I could do was to hope that only bugs lived there not anything bigger. Me and my colleague stayed at two rooms neither...

We all really loved this hotel...very close to the metro exit, so convenient. Looks like the rooms will be tiny from the outside, but inside they are quite spacious and lovely. We had two rooms, one with a balcony and a nice breakfast nook, and the other with two bedrooms and a big bathroom, which also had a breakfast nook....

I've been staying for one night. A long nightmare. Since the check in I've been quite worried about the situation. They asked me to pay at the reception before even getting into the bedroom. As soon as I got into the bedroom I understood why. Dirty and smelly. Did not use the bathroom because too much dirty, did not use...

Booked to stay 5 nights, moved out after one. Room and bedding very dirty, bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. Hole in wall of my room, there appeared to be mouse droppings on the floor. Had requested smokefree rooms, arrived to find all of hotel very very smoky. Bedroom smoky, including linen and curtains. When we complained to the onduty receptionist...
