Comfortable beds, TV's rooms, warm showers and great location! Well worth a stay if on a budget. Stayed in mid winter and the rooms are warm compared to other hostels in the area. Staff are nice, was given free food by the lovely Russian cleaners!

As far as hostels go, this one is pretty ok. My fiancé actually stayed there for 4 months straight before I joined him out there (although we did only stay there for 3 nights) and it's honestly fine! This is a HOSTEL not a 5* hotel and you're certainly not pay for that either! The location is really good. I...

This was one of the better hostels we stayed in while in Sydney in the summer, it was very close to the beach which was the best part about it, the rooms were fairly clean we had a 4 person room which was a nice change from Sydney's usual 12-16 per room. The only real negative part was how hot...

Although, ideally located at few steps from the popular beach, hotel itself was terrible , with rooms small , cramped smelly and linen very old. I had arrived from Canberra late in the night so had to stay any way other wise could have cancelled it. Check its reviews at hostel-booking, they are not also good. Always look at the...

I'm not a backpacker so I can't really compare this hostel to others around Oz, but I'm happy our stay was just a 1 night stay. Room was pretty dirty, so dirty that I preferred to use our own bedding, just to be safe. Toilets look like a caravan's toilet. I wouldn't suggest to have a shower there. Pretty noisy...

This hostel is one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The staff are really good, friendly and informative. It's laid back and pretty quiet. It's really close to the beach and the busses to bondi junction and elizabeth street. I'd definitely recommend!

Stayed in a twin room with my cousin for 5 nights and the place is in a pretty poor state. On the plus side, it's in a great location in that it's close to the beach as well as decent bars and eateries. After that it goes downhill. The floor is filthy, the mattress was very thin, the staff aren't...

Very close to the beach in a quiet location, which is great. The hostel itself is in a desperate state of an upgrade! The rooms were in a poor state of cleanliness and the sheets looked like they could use replacing. Bathrooms tiny and only one per floor, so there is room for improvement there too. The fire alarm went...

Staying in Bondi Beach

Neighbourhood Profile
Bondi Beach
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.
