This place gors by the name Village Bondi Beach now. I stayed at The Village Bondi Beach and it was okay. No air conditioner and no ventilation vents to allow circulation, but a shoe to hold the door open worked great.

I rated at this hostel for five nights. Whilst the location is close to bondi beach and local shops, the cleanliness of this hostel is not great. However the staff are very positive in their response to any issues. Staff are also friendly.

Most travellers staying at this place are usually here for 2 reasons. First would be the cheap price and secondly the location is just a block away from the beach. With that said this place does attract many surfers and people who love the beach. That's why I picked this place. The buliding seems rather old and with any old...

We stayed in Bondi for 1 night and got room 3. However we were not informed that you literally hear every single thing that is happening outside the room. The room is downstairs near the road and the area where all other travelers come together to talk, smoke, laugh or to shake vending machines for snacks. During the day that...

Kitchen is as tiny and low (1.9m) - there is a beam running at head height right through the middle meaning you have to stoop most of the time. Bed sounded like it would fall apart, sheets and pillows smelt. Room wasn't cleaned for three days and was filthy. I think they wiped it over with a damp cloth to...

Very nice vibe at this hostel, except for some dirty people that don't know how to pee in the toilets. Did not like the locked in papertowls but it compensate for free wifi, relaxed atmosphere and the helpful janitor, Igor. Good place to do whatever you want... Enjoy it! ;) wifi isn't great but it works laundry costs

I booked an ensuite room. Didn't get it. Shared toilet was covered in urine each time I went to use it. I walked into the shower and walked out again. Bed was very uncomfortable. Had to ask for a towel Would stay stay here again. Very disappointing

Great price in off season. Always kept clean. Room a bit cramped. Kitchen a bit cramped. Awesome location. Friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Internet was nice to have. The place had reception staff available 24 hours pretty much.

Room was a little cold, ask for an extra blanket. Overall very satisfied, could have more cooking facilities but was ok. Room was large & had a TV & free internet, bathrooms ect were clean h generally the place was very quiet. I would stay again if going back to Bondi

Staying in Bondi Beach

Neighbourhood Profile
Bondi Beach
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.
