I was looking for something affordable yet still some what tidy and classy so the hotel looked like a good option. On arrival I wasnt sure what I was expecting. The receptionist was confusing and quite forgetful and all over the place. I was told the car park was full so I payed for a nearby spot for half of... More

Needing somewhere to stay because a lived one is in the nearby John Fawkner Hospital? Then Dolma is perfect. A bit dated but we found it to be clean, comfortable, reasonably priced with off street parking and an easy 10 minute stroll to the hospital. 5 mins if you walk quickly. Quiet with very easy access to train and trams... More

The hotel is a little dated, but having said that it was comfortable and clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed 2 nights in Melbourne and the hotel was approximately a 25 minute tram ride on the tram 19 into the city with a stop on the corner from the hotel. You can purchase or top up... More

The Dolma Was not very expensive which was good but I guess you get what you paid for. Very Old and the bathroom needs a face lift. The exaust fan was eatremely loud which we found annoying. The room didn't even have a toaster and the staff failed to top up our milk on a daily basis. We stayed 5... More

Parking in the backyard, clean, Not too far from Sydney Road, etc. Couple of decent restaurant options in the area, including for early breakfast. Room didn't look like the pictures on the site. Internet didn't work at all for the whole duration of the stay.

This hotel was hard to drive into. The room i was in was small but clean. The hot water pressure is good. You kind get budget. The bed was too small for two people. One good thing was there was a elevator as there was only two levels. Hotels does sell myki card that you can keep.

We have stayed at the Dolma Hotel a few times now and been really pleased with the location and value. When we drive to Melbourne from rural Victoria, we don't want to go to the City. The Dolma is easy to get to, and is less than 5 minutes walking to either tram or train into the City, and an... More

Needing to stay near Brunswick during a family member's hospitalisation, this was the closest option. It's no Hilton, and indeed it is an odd maze of a layout, but the bed was extremely comfortable and sheets snow-fresh. I was allocated a room "at the back" which I was advised was quiet, and I gather rooms towards Moreland Road can be... More
