We booked for 3 days and extended for 2 more nights here... the house is warm and friendly, the staff were helpful and funny, this is the place to stay in Moulay Idriss. The other thing is the food, the best food in the city. Highly reccomended, but beware, you might not want to leave...

After a couple weeks of traveling around Morocco and sleeping every night on beds that feel like concrete with a thin layer of foam on top, sinking in to the pillowy soft mattresses at Dar Zerhoune was an amazing enough experience to warrant a 5* review. If you add in the delicious food, extremely friendly owner and staff, and the...

We stayed on the 2nd floor with the private bath. Rooms were clean. Shower worked great. Bed was comfy. Hospitality, maps, and information booklet were helpful. We arrived late (11:30 PM) and they were up waiting on us. Very kind and welcoming staff. Check out was also flexible. A great location with Moulay Idriss. Common rooms had playing cards, books,...

Thank you for your kind words. You were a pleasure to have and we hope you do come back soon! We are in the process of looking for someone to help us with the bikes so we can make them better. We are so glad you enjoyed our town of Moulay as much as we do. Thank you again and...

I can say without a doubt that Dar Zerhoune was the best traveling experience I've ever had. Hamid picked me up at the Fez airport, and took me on a beautiful scenic drive on the way to Moulay Idriss. We stopped for figs and chickpeas along the roadside, and drove to a gorgeous lookout point over the city. When I...

I had the pleasure to stay at Dar Zerhoune for the whole of Ramadaan, hence this is the hardest review I'm ever going to write as I experienced enough for a novel/film. Firstly I was luckily enough to meet the owner Rose who showed me around and infected me with her passion for the people and the place. Rose wasn't...

In May my wife and I spent two and a half weeks in Morocco and travelled throughout the country. It was our second trip to Morocco. We had spent eleven days in the country the year before. We could not stop thinking about this exquisite country and the warm and kind people we met everywhere. Staying at the Dar Zerhoune...

Everything about the place is wonderful. The accommodations are cozy, the staff are amazing, and the city is gorgeous. However, nothing compares to the surprisingly delicious food! Outside of Morocco's larger cities, it is hard to find much variety, but Rose and her staff have created a great menu full of good food with fresh ingredients. Truly, not to be...

A very friendly place to stay. Run by Rose (originally from New Zealand) and her lovely local staff. Dar Zerhoune is situated in the middle of the old town, just a short walk from the town square. The building is quite traditional with loads of atmosphere, but the best part is the roof terrace with a view across the town...

Being a guest at Dar Zerhoune feels like staying with a family friend! The town itself is not so easy to get to, but once you're there, you can completely relax.
