Easy to find--follow signage from grand taxi lot. If you're facing uphill, it's to the right, down the alley, and to the left. The gentleman who greeted us was charming. The private bathroom was a treat. The room was excellent. The upstairs restaurant has a great view, though prices are high. (We grabbed streetfood in town). The breakfast was standard,...

At a very decent price, this hotel rents basic rooms with clean comfortable beds, including a simple breakfast (with good quality coffee). Only 5 km from Volubilis, a breathtaking place that is worth visiting several days in a row as it is so big and there is so much to see. The most attractive feature of the hotel is the...

Nothing really special about this place but it is ok for a one night stay if you are exploring Volubilis. Rooms, breakfast and customer service very average here. Wifi spotty. It took us approximately an hour to walk to Volubilis from here but it is only a five or ten minute walk into the central market where you can go...

Stayed here for two days in March 2015. A fine hotel, with an exceedingly friendly Berber owner. Not sure why everyone grand taxis out to Volubilis instead of staying overnight in the remarkable hilltop town Moulay Idriss (take Bus 15 outside the Meknes bus terminal, it stops on the circle IN FRONT of the bus station and costs under US...

With friendly staff it was comfortable and cozy staying at this hotel. Easy to find and approach as it is located near the grand taxi stand. Breakfasts were good enogh with a wonderful view. All the rooms had air-conditioners (for heating as well as cooling), some of which did not work well. Many private bathrooms are separated from the room...

We stayed one night in Diyar Timnay in April and managed to book very easily just a few days before arriving through their website. The hotel was great value at 240 dh per night including breakfast. The owner Hafid spotted us when we arrived by grand taxi into Moulay Idriss and was very welcoming. We were offered two rooms, one...

A very cheap hotel, but at the same time comfortable and with good facilities. It's just a few steps from the archaeological site of Volubilis and a few meters from the shrine of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun. You can also enjoy a good breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the archaeological and the Atlas Mountains.

I've been to Morocco many times since my first foray in 1983. Little has changed you will be pleased to know. It is still like stepping back in time when you leave Spain behind. The hotel Diyar Timnay is spotless. The rooms are like an operating theatre and the showers are hot. All the staff are friendly and eager to...

My husband and I loved this place. We stayed overnight and went to Volubilis at 8AM, thinking we would miss breakfast as we were gone until about 11AM. Shortly after we got in at 11, we got a knock on our door from our host telling us breakfast was ready! It is a very comfortable hotel, a steal at 240Dh...
