Old style Mission hotel. Great rooms. Love the windows with it's heavy duty wooden window closers. Not something you get to see. Service is great in the bar and the dining room. Food is very good and well appointed, and a nice warm atmosphere. Rooms have heat or air conditioning, so that is a big plus. Beautiful area is Catavina..with its...

I loved staying here, with the open courtyard and fountain in the middle. The pool and jacuzzi in the inner courtyard. It was very clean and the heater worked! They have wifi (you pay a minimal fee/hour of usage). The Restaurant had GOOD food, a good selection of wines. For being out in the middle of nowhere this was a...

We stopped here with our family on our way down the Baja to Cabo San Lucas. Our daughter and her husband were in their RV. They were able to park outside and we stayed at the hotel. We got there and went straight to the bar because the Seahawks were playing. They already had it on the TV. The rooms...

This is my favorite place to stay enroute to Baja Sur. The stunning views always take my breath away. The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and the bar and restaurant provide classic Mexican fare. They are also pet friendly! Wifi is unreliable because this place is in the middle of nowhere. It's best to have cash for payment since...

If you ever drive down the baja peninsula this place will be your saving grace. It's in the middle of nowhere but has all the amenities of a mid range hotel. It gets pretty busy during the holidays and the bar gets pretty packed. The rooms are basic but in this part of baja they feel luxurious!

Old school type hotel. Looks like nothing much ever changes. Will constructed clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. There is a pool in the interior courtyard. No gas available here except for the roadside vendors and they are really expensive. The hotel has a small shop for the things you forget

The staff are friendly and the service is good. Room was ice cold as we checked in. Lots of space in the room for baggage and the beds were very comfortable for people who do not like extra soft beds. Clean room, lots of water pressure. This hotel is located a fast 6.5 hour drive from the border, or 8...

Luxury is relative and in Baja California, Mexico this is luxury. The restaurant is good with a large menu for such an isolated place. On Highway 1 480 km (300 miles) south of the border so it's a convenient stop on a trip south.

The hotel is a true gem in the middle of a desert. Catavina looks like another planet, with rocks and a variety of cactus. The hotel looks great and nice, and each room has very good pressured hot showers and AC. I had the best margarita in the hotel bar. The restaurant has fresh and great tasting food. The hotel...
