Their Korean breakfast was very good. Beef soup served in a hot bowl, steamed rice and some kimchi.

This hotel is one of the ones crowded around the bus terminal, and as such can draw on the transient crowd with ease. Their rooms are clean, but showing signs of age in terms of tiles, wallpaper and carpets. The style in the public rooms and hallways is vaguely art-deco, but not enough to be dominant. Hotel is located near the bus station and is a good clean hotel. Free wifi and free English language newspaper. Staff speak some English.

Renamed from the “Riviera Hotel” this facility is simple, clean, functional and affordable, and is centrally located is downtown Cheong-Ju City, a major industrial center about two hours south of Seoul.
