We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to this camping booked by our tour agency, We arrived to a very welcoming atmosphere with Berber music and local food. It was my wife's birthday that day and we were met with a huge surprise cake. Thank you for this! The tents are more like private huts with proper bed and sheets and ensuite toilet/shower. Solar energy based hot water and electricity are available at times. Having head lamps might be a good idea just in case. Food is tasty and plentiful. All dishes are of local origin and vegetarian options are available if arranged in advance. Breakfast has just enough choice of diversity with instant coffee, tea and hot milk. The caping is located in the Erg Chebbi dunes and it feels being inside the desert at all times. Remote location (about an hour and a half of camel ride) to the tallest dunes makes it isolated from other campings, which makes the nights quiet and relaxing. The camping is far from dusty and busy roads and the air is clean and fresh. We recommend!

My friend and I went to Morocco city hopping not knowing what to expect while in Chefchaouen heading off to our hotel preparing for our next city we met a man telling us about his brother and how he owns a hotel in the Sahara Desert, and he offers tours and an overnight stay, we spoke earlier during the day saying we want to go to the Sahara Desert but we didn't know how, we looked at each other thinking this is too good to be true and how God listened to our prayer lol, so we spoke to his brother on the phone Amar and off we went to the Sahara Desert 2 days later. Honestly it was a life changing experience. The hotel was prue beauty absolutely shocked that such a place exists, the hospitality was unreal the people of the hotel as well as the owner were sooo kind honestly please come here and do their tour it was mind blowing. We even had people sing to us as well as us getting up and dancing with them. Such an amazing experience and Amar the host is such a kind soul, cared for us from the moment we got his number till the moment we left.

The tent was beautiful. They served us a delicious dinner of beef tagine with onion confit and prunes, another minced beef tagine with egg, and a final vegetable tangine. They were huge (we had six people). We came with Holiday Morocco Tours. We woke up early and saw the sunrise over the mountains and the sand dunes, which was magical. There was a toilet, sink and shower in the tent. We didn't use the shower. To get there, we rode an hour by camel under the night sky and stars. It was a long ride but personally I think it was worth it. With Holiday Morocco Tours, you have the option of going in a 4x4 for about five minutes instead of the hour camel ride. They had music around a small bonfire after dinner. The electricity turns on at a certain time in the morning, so don't be afraid when it doesn't turn on. This is because it's solar powered.

We arrived at Sandfish around 3-4pm, brought here by our tour guide. We’re welcomed with a mint tea and some snacks and were told to wait for around an hour to ride the camels since we arrived earlier than the rest of the guests. The common room at the main house is cosy and a big dusty (something very normal considering that the house is in the middle of the desert!) After the group came and the camels were brought to the camp, we’re divided into small groups of 4. Ali, a young and very friendly lad, made the ride very easy, gave us some good tips and even grant us with some extra time to explore the dunes. We experienced a little sand storm in the way back, since we had the experienced Ali with us and turbans to protect us from the sun/wind, we were very placed to have such an authentic experience. - note that you can chose to go back to base in a 4x4. Once back in the camp (already at night!) we were brought to a tent to enjoy a very generous and tasty Moroccan dinner, followed by music around a bonfire. Once we told the crewmen that we were tired they brought us to our tent (private!) , had a shower and had one of the best night of sleep ever. The breakfast was simple but tasty, with one of the best views you can imagine: only sand any direction you will look at, and eventually a set of camels with a nomad walking to the next available oasis to pasture. Note that there were flies but as they are anywhere else in Morroco. It is based on the season and not on how clean they keep the place. Everything I saw was as clean as it could be. Note as well that the team is very welcoming and if you ask them for something they will do their best to assist you. However, somethings should be told once you arrive so they have time to prepare (let’s not forget that it is in the middle of the desert, so certain things are very limited, which in my eyes is very reasonable) Omar (the owner) and the crew (most of them relatives) are extremely friendly and very respectful. I give them a 5/5 for their kindness, friendliness and for organizing an experience I will never forget. Thanks!
