We had four of us that rented the penthouse "Casa de Paradise" just recently. As a matter of fact we got back last weekend and wish we were still there. The property is very nicely appointed and has two or three units below. Everyone that was staying on the property was very nice. The upper unit has two bedrooms with king beds and bathrooms of there own. They also have all the amenities you would have at home regarding the kitchen and what not. The beach is just a 100' a way and it's a private beach with lounge chairs all over. There are plenty of restaurants around the area and plenty to do. Besides the flights and airports it's a wonderful rental for sure. We would certainly go back.

We were 4 middle aged plus couples who got together for a visit on West Bay. Casa de Coral was a great place, a great deal on a great part of the beach! A deck would have made things perfect. We did take advantage of the small courtyard for outdoor cooking and a few chats.
There was everything needed for cooking for yourself if you wanted, including a bar-b-que. Unfortunately we ran out of propane while cooking 'pineapple Foster' but a new tank showed up the next day. In fact any problems were resolved quickly and professionally. Ken even made an after dark trip to deliver candles after a power failure - hopefully those pesky outages will stop once they have the new power plant on the island running smoothly.
With housekeeping coming twice per week we had no shortage of clean towels and supplies. Paper is not flushed in Roatan, so here's a tip to make your (and the maid's) room experience more pleasant - purchase large zip lock bags at Eldon's while picking up groceries. Zip your used paper in these and add to the trash when full.
We arranged our airport shuttle through Myra, it worked perfectly for us all and managed to fit us all in with our luggage. We filled any empty space with our purchases at the grocery store stop along the way. We supplemented our groceries with produce and fish trucks that stopped in a few times. For four couples the space was a bit tight but doable. For a family it would be wonderful.
The noise from Henry Morgan was a little much sometimes but the rooms kept out the worst of it. Otherwise it is on a quiet part of the beach. A few vendors come by, mostly the massage girls, but they are respectful for the most part and leave you alone after a no thanks.
Looking forward to returning!
Thank barata

We recently spent a week at Casa De Paradise and stayed in the 1 bedroom ground floor condo-Savannah's Treasure. First the condo location is about 75 yards off the beach which I think was perfect to avoid the crowds/vendors on West Bay. With that being said the beach and beach chairs provided were great and you can sit away from the beach a little to avoid most of the vendors. The beach is gorgeous and sunsets are phenomenal.
The condo Savannahs Treasure was very spacious, even more than I anticipated. It was well appointed but after seeing the 2 bed condo above us probably could use some upgrades. The kitchen needs new and more utensils. Only 4 plates and very few glasses aren't enough especially when you are hand washing dishes after every meal. We had some power outage issues which weren't the condo's problem, however, it says to burn candles during the power outages. Problem was we had no candles! So sun has set and no power till 1:30AM in a pitch black condo. Thank goodness our phones were charged for lighting. No power meant no AC and if you open a window there are no screens..which means mosquitos and bugs. If the power is expected to go off from now and then they need screens on the windows at least in the bedroom to get airflow without the bugs. The last compliant is the plumbing. We were in constant fear of toilet problems and they give you a plunger thank goodness. Water pressure is weak so I think that is part of the plumbing issue. They also ask you not flush toilet paper which is tough to explain to a teenager. Water pressure seemed fine everywhere else we visited.
Ok so those are my issues but we would definitely go back to these condos. The location is great, Marisol was also great to deal with and very friendly. Booking was easy with Myra and Omar's drivers took care of us! The 2 story condo above us did have screens on the bedroom windows and when we viewed it had more upgrades done to it. Being set back from direct beach front is a plus and also it is not on the crowded section of West Bay. You can walk to all the restaurants in the area and take a short water taxi or taxi to the West End. The patio is spacious and the bed was fine to sleep on. My son slept on the big couch vs the pull out couch and said it was more comfortable than the pullout bed. They provide you with a local cell phone which you have to put minutes on but it was inexpensive and nice to have while we were there. The AC is only able to run from 5PM to 9AM per the rental agreement (you can pay more to run it all day if you like). We were worried about this but once the power outages ceased the condo was comfortable during the day with ceiling fans on. We really weren't in our condo much during the day anyway! Our next trip to Roatan we will likely stay at the 2 bedroom unit. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation rental and beautiful location!

My husband and I stayed at Savannah’s Treasure in the beginning of May (2016). It was absolutely perfect. I don’t use that word often. We have been to West Bay three times and this was the largest place we have had the privilege of staying in. All three places have been right on the beach, but this place was huge and was set up like a home, not a rental. The linens and towels were high quality. There were so many towels that we would’ve never used all of them in a week. There were even face clothes. Our experience through the Caribbean is that no one provides face clothes. There were 4 quality beach towels and they were replaced mid week. This was a truly care free trip. The bedroom had a king bed that was very comfortable and lots of windows (not to mention a walk in closet).

The kitchen had everything imaginable- pots, pans, baking essentials (just in case you want to bake while in the Caribbean!), pitchers, a crock pot, a full of silverware and numerous place settings. The refrigerator and freezer worked great. The bathroom had double sinks and was large enough for the 2 of us to be in at the same time getting ready for the day. We made breakfast every morning and ate it outside at the hightop table- looking at the ocean. There are also 2 comfy loungers with cushions on them on the patio. The lounge chairs for the beach were numerous and of good quality. We took loungers close to the water one night and enjoyed a bottle of wine.

The only minor negatives were there were no sharp knife, screens in the windows and the place next door (Henry Morgans) played loud music randomly. You couldn’t hear the music inside but you could obviously outside. I understand the rational behind no screens for security reasons the home owner would prefer to have the windows shut and locked, it would be nice though to enjoy fresh air in the bedroom instead of using the AC.

When we arrived there was a young lady waiting to show us the place and explain everything. No waiting around. Our ride from the airport, which was also arranged by Myra (the property owner) was waiting for us. Everything went super smoothly. There is a super sweet cat that is obviously the resident cat. We tried to give her smoked salmon and fish. She said no thanks. She did however like chicken. Go figure. On our second day there we returned from diving and there was a bowl with cat food in it. I found the young lady who introduced us to the place and she brought me back to the storage area and showed me that they have a bag of cat food for her. I went to the West Bay mall and tried to buy the same kind but they only had canned cat food- which she also liked. I ended up giving the young lady 20 dollars to buy more food for her.

My opinion is that for the price and location this place can not be beat. Next year, I will check the availability of this place first, if it is available it will make our trip very easy to plan. We have our favorite dive shop and now we have our favorite rental.
