I love this hotel, and have stayed there several times. The people are outstanding. Very friendly, and at least some ability to speak English. The hotel is older, but well maintained, and has inside parking, which is important. Parking on Brazil's narrow streets is often difficult. The included breakfast is very good, featuring a lot of Brazilian fruits and baked goods. The pool is nice, and the seating area nearby is a good place to relax. The hotel is on the beach, and there is a shopping district with many small restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel. A prominent police presence keeps things safe at night. With the exception of the largest cities, Brazil's bad reputation for crime is undeserved. I felt safer here than in some American cities at night. My excellent rating is based on a comparison of the other nearby hotels. An American tourist may find the simple atmosphere a little disappointing, but Guarapari is a smaller city, and not a prime destination for foreigners. But I believe that vacationers should consider the more manageable size of Guarapari when choosing a Brazilian vacation spot. While we have a condominium in Vitoria, which is a very nice city, we still enjoy an occasional vacation in Guarapari, and when we go, we stay at the Hotel Atlantico.…
This hotel is located at the heart between Castanheiras Beach and Virtudes Beach. Its location is supreme. The hotel itself is a little outdated. The rooms could use with a major renovation. There's wi-fi in all rooms. We only stayed a night and it was ok but it would have been problematic for longer stays. The air con works and as a matter of fact everything works but it seems you were transported to a time-warp to 1972! Our room was clean but the whole atmosphere is outdated. Breakfast was decent, there were many pastries and bread choices, some fruits and cheese. The view from the breakfast room is spectacular so you're bound to start your day in a good way. We would only consider staying here if we were on a very tight budget. The hotel needs to step it up and improve facilities. Advice: parking lot is very small and some car's height will not fit in the garage.…
