Words cannot describe the peace and tranquility experienced at Reflections Guest Farm. This has to be one of our favourite gems of the Western Cape and we cannot wait to go back and visit again. Everything was so meticulously thought out from the stone bathroom that made you feel like you were in a resort, to the farm style kitchen with gas stove and all the amenities you could need. An aircon was the cherry on top that made for peaceful sleep each night during the Cape Town summer heat. Well done Reflections Guest Farm team!
An absolutely lovely little cottage for 2. The view of the mountains and surrounding nature creates such a peaceful atmosphere. An amazing place to stay if you wanna disconnect and relax. There's a lot of wine tasting places, olive oil tasting and other attractions. Would definitely stay at the Reflections Guest Farm again :)
The room was very underwhelming for the price paid. The area gets load shedding frequently but the candles supplied were not sufficient with no matches and no candle stand. The bugs were too much for comfort and there were no mosquito nets. The bug repellant was almost finished and the bug repellent provided for the skin was useless. At least provide guests with peaceful sleep. The shower gel was in a grubby bottle and half filled. The floors and walls were absolutely filthy. There was dust everywhere and general cleanliness was lacking
Will recommend this place to anyone, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, it looks like the website pictures the views around your are mind blowing. Love the fact that you can bring your dogs along!
I can highly recommend Reflections Guest Farm. The indoor fireplace REALLY heated up the house, the kitchen was well stocked and the views just breathtaking! Our dogs just had the best time and the freedom of running around the large open spaces... We are booking to go again in Summer!
We had a great time at Reflections Guest farm. Lovely and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful scenery. Nice clean accommodation, with fridge etc in kitchen. Having an outside braai there was really a lovely experience. My husband said it definitely recharged his batteries having such a lovely peaceful getaway. Ilze Brand was extremely helpful in every way possible.
We had the most amazing stay at Reflections Guest Farm! We had booked a cottage and got upgraded to a stunning 4-bedroom house. A big thank you to Ilze! There was a fireplace inside so it was perfect for the cold weekend we had. Our two dogs were so happy to run around and explore. And we even took them out on the dam for fishing. We wanted a peaceful weekend away and our expectations were exceeded, it’s a beautiful place everyone can only fall in love with!
With it being our second stay at Reflections Guest Farm we weren’t disappointed. Peaceful mornings overlooking the small dam from our spot. The room we stayed in was spacious, with everything you need for making meals (self catering). There are various cottages so whether you’re alone or with a family there is something for you. We got our supplies from the local spar in Tulbach, a short 5 min drive away. This time round we had a little snow on the mountain to the right of us (Witzenberg)compared to last year although we had stayed in August so there was a little more snow then. Such beauty all around and hubby lit the fire and we had a braai on our second night, while we watched the sun setting behind the hills in front of us as well as listening to the birds settle in the reeds on the dam, just so beautiful! We ate at the Tulbach Hotel on the first night as we had enjoyed sight seeing the whole day and didn’t feel like making anything to eat on our return. The food was delicious and the restaurant was cozy and staff were friendly. Tulbach is a great place to stay and the trip there is absolutely gorgeous, with mountains, waterfalls, and baboons, along the route. Tulbach is surrounded by mountains (Obiqua,Groot Winterhoek, and Witzenburg) so it is lovely just to drive and stop at different places and enjoy the different spots along the way. We ended up in Ceres last year chasing snow and everywhere we went it snowed, even if it was light, it was fun, and if you get the chance to travel to the Matroosberg then do it because it’s breathtakingly beautiful!…
Beautiful farm with dam and mountain backdrop. Very relaxing and peaceful. Children could run freely and play. Would recommend a light by the pool area and jungle gym for the evenings. Also would take misquitoe repellent with
Most Spectacular views, breathtaking sunsets, magnificent sunrises in tulbagh Rooms are tasteful, clean and well equipped. We love the fact that pets are welcome A true piece of heaven on earth. This farm has a great atmosphere is a quick drive to escape the city buzz The cottages are a good distance apart to ensure enough privacy This place will definitely see us again
