We had a conference here for a few days. The conferencing facilities were always clean, setup as instructed with no technical issues, on time. The staff are extremely helpful and willing to assist with any query. The food was really good throughout our visit and was sufficient for the big group that we were. Thank you to Hein and his...

Wow. The setting is incredible. Friendly helpful staff. Safe. Clean. Had so much fun. Food were good. More than enough. Juno, such a brilliant dog, walked me to my room. A bit of attention can be given to the geysers, but even that was not a problem as the staff sorted the issue out in a matter of minutes. Will...

We had a team build outing to Waterval Country Lodge. Activities were fun but the tents were not much protection against the howling wind. The flapping of the canvas made for a tough sleep. Great views and on a better day i am sure it will be a better experience.

I was privileged to have attended a work conference here. 4 seasons in 2 days. Sun, rain, wind and snow. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The setting is just magnificent and tranquil. Hein hosted us to the tee and made sure our stay was comfortable. My only gripe is that the kitchen staff need to come visit us...

Great stay. Great team-building activities. Staff friendly. Loved the tents even in the cooler weather, warm and comfortable. So glad we did this instead of another same old hotel booking for the conference.

We went here for a team build and it was average at best. The food was okay but really not great. The lunch on our second day was pastries that tasted like it was cooked from frozen and overcooked. Sandwiches dry. I think it was because of the heat it was very hot 30 plus degrees so the salad was...

If you need a venue for a large team building, this is ideal. The tents are maybe not a luxurious as per the web site, and ours had four metal beds in a row - good for team building, but choose your snoring partner carefully! The toilet basin and shower are just that, with no frills such as a mirror,...

Thank you so much for taking the time to give Waterval a review. Quite naively I had not realised, until today, that we had a presence on TripAdvisor as we only deal in group / corporate bookings rather than individuals or families. So for this I apologise for the delay in responding to your review. For some reason it seems...

Was there for a week with work training(classroom style) so not best circumstances but even so it was breathtaking Hine (?) was always about to help if needed and Lizzie was everywhere - beautiful walks and for more adventure based events I suspect it would be even better

We the NBC attended a Conference Workshop there. We can honestly say that we received the best service, friendly and helpfulness to a T. Very professional. We stayed in the Guinea Fowl Lodge and the Garden Rooms it was awesome, well equipped, lovely entertainment area, and definitely comfy leather chairs that allowed for us to just sit back and relax....

I've attended an event here and was really surprised by the professional way in which the staff treated us. The tented accommodation was more than suitable, as it had on-suite bathrooms, built adjacent to the tents, so no need for late night strolls in the dark. The food was out of this world (well, I guess it depends what the...
