This is such a gem. It ticked all the boxes, staff were extremely friendly, efficient and always willing to assist. Accommodation was magnificent with all the spoils of turning down of the beds, with chocolate treats each night, filter coffee in the rooms resulting in 5 star treatment. The food and atmosphere is lovely and quaint. The pool is exclusive...

Dear Lynn very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. There is much to do around Tulbagh, wine and olive tasting, mountain bike routes used during the annual Cape Epic race, and stunning horse rides through the bush to the mountains, that sit majestically around the town. Looking forward to your return Alasdair

My husband treated me to a surprise birthday getaway at Tulbach Boutique Hotel and what an amazing experience! This little gem, hidden in the main road of Tulbach, is worth every one of the 4 stars it displays. From the super friendly and efficient staff, beautiful and very comfortable rooms (with robes, complimentary toiletries and very well stocked honesty bar)...

Our stay at the Tulbagh hotel was very pleasant. The suite we booked was large, clean and very comfortable. The food at the restaurant is also great - the service at the restaurant could just be a bit more organized. Otherwise the staff are very friendly. We stayed in the section across the road from the main hotel which was...

The main hotel building dates from 1859 & offers a range of contemporary-styled luxurious rooms. The Winterhoek Manor(1813) and the Toll House(1809), opposite the hotel, are two of the heritage properties in Church Street, offering charming period rooms. Individual décor and fine cotton linen adorning four poster beds. Chandeliers on yellowwood beamed ceilings. Our Honeymoon Suite is the jewel in our crown. Crafted from the old wagon shed, this suite oozes romantic charm. Open thatch, two fireplaces, bath and shower for two. There are three pool areas, free Wi-Fi throughout and an in-house beauty therapist. All areas have air conditioning and there are cosy wood-burning fires for winter evenings.
