My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Bergsicht Country Farm and it was absolutely amazing. The fact that it was a contactless process made it so much easier. The Lady Red cottage was beautiful and petite and she did not disappoint at all. Just as we think we forgot something simple and small - there is was in the cottage. Definitely a must go!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bergsicht Country Farm Cottages (Laetitia cottage). The location is so beautiful with stunning mountain views and amazing star-gazing at night (plus super quiet). But what made this place so special was the attention to detail in the design of the cottage. Every single thing has been thought of to make your stay so comfortable. Plus attention to detail for a stunningly designed cottage. We also made plenty use of the hot tub which was just so relaxing. We would happily stay here again and I encourage everyone to book as soon as possible.

A lovely place to stay for a night or a week. The owner thought of everything and the honestly wood chest is fantastic. The place was clean, private and secure parking. We felt safe the entire time we were there. The hot tub in front of the cottage is a plus and we enjoyed it very much. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a gas stove and lights for when there is loadshedding. The only negative thing is the staircase to the bedroom upstairs is very steep, but luckily there is also a bedroom downstairs.

Thank you for reviewing our Ruby Star Farm Cottage. Ruby Star can sleep 2 - 4 persons, making it the perfect option for a couple or family or friends. The unit has a lovely large open plan living space with a jet master fireplace for winter and a free-standing fan for summer. This space has the kitchen dining and living room all in one and 2 single beds are also in this space. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and is air-conditioned. The bathroom has a bath shower and washbasin, with a separate water closet. Outside, under the covered veranda are built-in braai facilities and the cottage garden features our signature outdoor woodfired tub that can be left cold for the summer or heated with woodfire.

The cottages are side by side on a road surrounded by fruit orchards. We spent a Sunday afternoon and evening so got to experience the farm on its quietest day, on Monday morning there was quite a lot of activity as the farm started its weeks work. The kitchen is well stocked and the room is immaculate. The hot tub simple to operate and heated up quickly enough with very little intervention in terms of stoking the fire. Well worth a trip and we will be back for sure!

The short stay was amazing. For a working farm, it was not noisy. In fact, we enjoyed hearing the farm workers doing their thing from time to time. The hot tub was great. The fireplace cleaning services provided is top notch as well - an unexpected luxury. The bed was soooooo nice, haven't slept so great in a while! Bergsicht Country Cottages will definitely be seeing me again!

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and have stayed here twice before. The first time in Lady Red and the second time at Sunburst for a family getaway. This time, we chose Southern Belle. As with all our previous stays, everything was perfect! Neat, clean and well appointed. The large patio area with loungers, braai and woodfired hot tub just invites you to relax and enjoy the company of your loved one. Drinking wine at sunset and listening to the birds in the trees... Bliss! Also had a surprise visit from a mongoose on our last morning who wandered around the patio and investigated the hot tub before heading off to do important mongoose things. Fabulous getaway! And we will definitely be back again.

Such a beautiful peaceful and tranquil overnight stop. The unit is beautifully fitted and the outdoor area is everything you need for a peaceful evening. One just feels so peaceful breathing in the oxygen from the trees and watching the beautiful stars which appear to be so much closer. Marileze was extremely helpful.

Thank you for reviewing our town cottage property. Our Town property consists of 2 duplex semi-detached town cottages, Ixia and Disa, situated in a residential part of Tulbagh and can sleep 4 people each. Both cottages have a main bedroom on the ground floor fitted with a queen-size bed, while the loft bedrooms, located upstairs, each has 2 single beds. Each cottage is well equipped for self-catering and has its own wood fire heated tub and there are braai facilities on a covered veranda. Undercover parking is available behind a security gate.

We recently stayed at the Southern Belle cottage and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. As soon as we arrived we just switched off (partly because of loadshedding, but the gas stove, candles and all the other little touches ensured that this wasn't a problem!). The cottage was well kitted out, the bed was comfortable (there were mosquitoes, but that is summer) and the wood-fired hot tub is a great asset. Thank you for making out anniversary special.
