Arrived not expecting a lot and was pleasantly surprised,as others have said, nothing can take away the amazing location! we were put in an adjoining annex called a garden room, very clean with a very useful fridge and hairdryer. Me and my friend originally had a booked a 4Star hotel but after reading the review for that hotel we decided to change within a week of flying out! Dessia Beach was the only hotel available within our budget - so we went with the flow as we've never stayed in a 2Star! and we weren't looking forward to it...

Dassia Beach Hotel Restaurant (very close to Chandris hotel) offers excellent food (fresh succulent fish, mussels, prawns and all the normal delicious Greek dishes). Also great place to have evening drinks. Staff very friendly. Right on the waters edge with great views.

The food half board is mostly boiled rice with veg cold or chopped cucumber and tomato salad no dressing, for starter and thin chips and some kind of meat /cheese dish for main followed by melon slices, not good, people smoke...

The only complaint we had was about the TV reception which was rather eccentric! We had at first 10 channels in Greek, then only one in Russian and finally Sky News with no sound! However we did not want to...
