We stayed here for a couple of nights on two occasions recently. Great location overlooking the lagoon, but not that easy to find without the help of a map, gps or google. Very comfortable rooms though the better class we had in one stay has a bath as well as a shower, if that's what you want. One drawback is...

Our fourth stay at the Farmhouse. This time for 3 x nights in a superior room (no 10) A mixed assessment of our stay this year but despite the shortcoming we continue to love the situation and the basic atmosphere that this 'olde worlde' hotel offers. A luke warm welcome at reception (ingoing and at exit) and thereafter a wide...

What a beautifull hotel, the setting is just breathtaking with full views over the lagoon. Breakfast included and is really good. Overall the food was good, however the lamb curry should be avoided as it is not a true curry! Complaints on this fell on deaf ears? The rooms are well furnished, with modern and old charm furnishings. Staff are...

We stayed in one of the newer rooms overlooking the lagoon.. Well appointed, huge view windows and very quiet. A short walk to the main building, which was many years old, but which had an air of past grandeur. Food was adequate. An excellent place to stay when visiting the West Coast National Park. Safe parking. A couple of hours...

We stayed in this hotel over Easter. It was our third visit and sadly not our best visit. Years gone by this used to be really good but this time around it felt run down. Let me not get into details but the ragged towels (even when replaced) were inexcusable. On the bright side this is still the best location...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Very old hotel and also a museum with old memorabilia. It's very rustic so if you want 5* don't stay here! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were booked into room 13, which was very quirky with a bamboo, unusually shaped ceiling. We had a fantastic dinner in the...

This hotel is very different that he usual modern clean and clinical experience. Their decor just tell you the ambiance is old school with lost of childhood memories awakened by their collection of memorabilia. Cleverly decorated to not clutter but to focus you on the different historical events. The meal was great and recommended. The view of the bay is...

Stayed 2 nights in March , party of 4 , travelling throughout the Cape area.Collected keys from Farmhouse Hotel, stayed in adjacent Rosemary Chalet/flat. Front door lock appeared as quick fix with gaping holes between it and surrounding door, facilities certainly not up to South African stand, one toilet, basic utensils, a BBQ in shaded yard which we shared with...

Modernized rooms in an historic hotel located on the shores of Langebaan lagoon. Excellent food, helpful and kind and very hardworking staff. Our stay here was so relaxing. Lovely pool, billiards room, library and of course a great place to enjoy sundowners! Low staff levels one night resulted in a longer than usual wait for dinner. However, the excellent staff...

Will definitely go back and recommend others. Staff and management professional, friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in the annex..it was clean, beds very comfortable and view amazing. Only one complaint, no hand soap at basin, otherwise loved th body wash and hand lotion. The food was tasty and well presented.
