The Saaga is right on the ski slopes of yllas sport resort and this completely spoils you! Over the last few years more accommodation has appeared in Yllasjarvi, but it is still a very quiet place to stay with the hotel bar and 2 others counting as the après ski. We stayed in a two bed apt which was great...

Stayed at the Saaga Hotel the first week in February 2013. Have been to Yllas twice before but had never stayed at this hotel. Room on the third floor was a large twin room with balcony. Plenty of space, plenty of storage space, good sized bathroom with great shower. Rooms have a fridge, which was good as it was too...

Stayed in the hotel as part of a large group.Initial impression was good with hotel in a good position especially if you are a skier although we didn't bother. Room position very good facing ski slopes behind the hotel.Beds comfortable and storage also good and eventually warm when we finally persuaded someone to fix the cold radiator as reception kept...

It was our second time staying at Saaga - stayed in the 2 bedroom apartments with half board option. Family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 children. We stayed in Yllas Saaga Hotel for a week from 14th January, 2013, Below I will tell you about the hotel and the activities that we did. A comfortable, clean hotel with a fairly comprehensive buffet breakfast, though no bacon, and eggs were variable. We made our own toast - there were 2 toasters though one did not work well....

Just returned from Lapland after staying at this hotel. Clean warm hotel. Sufficient buffet breakfast catering for all tastes. Evening meal hit and miss some nights excellent salmon and others not so good. Very dark in Yllas in January with only 6 hours daylight. The hotel is also dark so the days appeared bit depressing - need to brighten up...

My Partner and I came here for a bit of skiing with the extra bonus of hoping to see the northern lights. We managed both (Just). We stayed in the main hotel and had a standard room. This had a little balcony if you fancied a blast of cold air and a nice look at the mountain. Not luxurious but...
