Wonderful ski in / ski out hotel that is only 2 mins walk to the gondola. We've just returned from a week here (in January 2017) and loved every minute. Very helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough to make your stay special. Thank you. We stayed in a two bed apartment (as opposed to a hotel room) that...

We stayed at the Saaga on a Santa excursion and found our room, with bunk beds for the children, a small kitchenette and living space and a 2nd bedroom for the parents to be very clean and comfortable. It is worth asking for a room with sauna if you're traveling in the winter months as we really enjoyed warming up...

We stayed 4 nights including Christmas Day. We've travelled with Thomson 4 times staying at 3 hotels (see other reviews) Winter Wonderland / Snowy Wilderness & Saaga. We've loved all 3, each for different reasons. WW included in the price you got to go to Santa Park - Shopping & activities on your door step. SW scenery breathtaking, Thomson make...

We had a 8 night Christmas stay at Hotel Saaga booked with Inghams. The hotel is very quiet and decorated very festively. The staff were amazing very polite and would always help if they could. Drinks were usual hotel price and nice areas to chill in the evening in front of the open fire with board games. The chalet was...

Location - Fantastic location to the ski lift and slopes to sledge on (free sledges outside the hotel to use). Based in a small town with a small shop and a few shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms - We had a 1 bedroom apartment on Half board. Lovely Clean room with Sauna, drying rack and Kitchen. Long walk from the...

We visited as a family of 3 generations for Christmas 2016, arriving 22 December - 26 December which was booked through Thomson. After the chaos of arriving at a small airport with several other flights landing at the same time and then queuing for what seemed like an eternity at the warehouse for the outdoor clothing provided, the transfer to...

We booked this hotel as part of a Thomosn 4 night package. I chose this particular hotel for its star rating and price....maybe I was a little naive and should have researched the area more, the reason for this is there is nothing resort other than a pub, a couple of bars and a ski school. Great if you're skiing...

I booked a week at The Saaga as a surprise for my husband's 40th b'day. The hotel is modern but characterful. Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable and the sauna and drying cupboard got lots of use, as did the washing machine, although I understand not all apartments have one- so best to request if you think you'll need...

First time skiing and we are glad we came here. Not too far to walk to the ski slopes (less than 5 mins) and the ski school was excellent. Good instructor and great time learning. Nice facilities for our first time. Can't really find a fault apart from gravity that keeps encouraging us to fall over on the slopes!
