Lodge 67 offered great facilities for a great vacation. everything was homely, clean and the staff was infinitely cordial. the breakfast, sauna and location was great too. Äkäslompolo offer good opportunities for skiing, snowshoeing and the outdoors. thanks to the staff for their hospitality, we will meet again.

We had a lovely time on Lodge 67. We worked remotely from there and enjoyed the nature taking short walks during the days. Breakfast was fine, and there were some places nearby for food. You can borrow a fatbike or kick-sledge for free.

Lovely place run by a great staff. Beautiful and welcoming decor. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is super. Located in a perfect area for summer trekking or skiing. Recommended for restoring energy.

We spend 5 wonderful days in this comfy lodge. When checking in, I was wondering how a place can earn a rating of 9.7 on booking.com - but I was taught soon: - amazing ambiance, e.g. fireplace in the breakfast room and beautiful decorated rooms - extremely helpful staff, e.g. our heavy bags were carried to our room, we were warned about road conditions as staff still knew our itinerary on check-out day from a conversation a few days back - enough privacy despite a very small and family-style setting - free use of the washing machine incl. detergent - free use of fat-bikes, snow-shoes, sleds - etc. All in all, VERY CLOSE TO PERFECT!!!

Beautiful family-owned little lodge just by the Äkäslompolo lake. Cozy rooms and suits, some even facing north for those of us craving the northern lights. Amazing freshly made breakfast by the fireplace and good advice on trips and activities. Also practical location if you are without a car: the airport bus stops around the corner, safari offices, supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely come again!!!

Everything! The staff were very friendly and personable, by the end of the stay you feel like a part of their family. The room was fantastic. It had a lounge, fireplace, kitchenette and huge wardrobe, along with the standard bedroom and en suite. We saw the northern lights from our window, in the comfort of the bed. The hotel offers snow sport equipment storage and maintenance facilities, as well of Saunas for use. It is ideally suited close by to a bus stop, not only for access to the snow slopes but also for transport to and from Kittila Airport. The lodge is a short walk from the cosy village of Akaslompo, but if you don't feel like walking they have bikes that are free to use.

We stayed for 3 nights in December, the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. We were given complimentary slippers to use during our stay, the hammocks in the living area are so relaxing. The whole place is beautiful, lovely decor. Our room was upstairs with a balcony & a fantastic view of the frozen lake. A kitchen area & tea/coffee making facilities. The sauna was great after a day in the snow. Food was great, lots of choice. We had lots of fun sledging down the driveway. Overall a wonderful place to stay - I hope we can return some time. To everyone there thank you for making us feel so welcome. X

Very good location, top notch service and super clean all around! Deifinitely would recommend for anyone. Nice addition to services was free use of fatbikes. Breakfast was good, everything was fresh and nice and the breakfast lounge was super cozy.

Very nice and cozy hotel with spacy and clean rooms. Including pair of sauna with good location in heart of Äkäslompolo. Very friendly staff and the breakfast would need it's own page. Simply very much everything healthy Finnish food with open fire place next to you. Recommend!! 🖒
