The staff was super attentive to our needs. Beautiful cabin with an incredible view. Very good breakfast, quite large. Very nice and well marked walking trail. If I had to point one area of improvement: I would add one more pillow per person and maybe a heater as at night it can get quite cold. We found out a little late that the hotel could provide us with hot water bags and by this time the reception was already closed. But in general all very well!

The staff is super friendly. The cabins look beautiful, are basic and with amazing view. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved that they grew their own food. The dinner was absolutely delicious - we really recommend the avocado ice cream - as was the breakfast, simple but super well prepared. It can get pretty cold at night and if you’re not a fan of bugs that might be an issue. There’s not a lot to do in the neighborhood.

Spent the night of January 1st in room 9 and I will never forget the scenic view from the room, the amazing taste of breakfast, all efforts the staff do to reduce the emissions linked to your stay, but most importantly I will never forget the kindness, smile and positive vibes of the staff. I promised myself to come back to Costa Rica one day, and stay longer in this fantastic eco-lodge, from which you can go hiking and observing the amazing Quetzal bird.

The villa cabins are basic, clean and well-maintained. Plenty of blankets for a warm night's sleep. They will also provide hot water bottles for heating the bed upon request. WiFi is not available in the cabins, but is fairly strong at the reception area and dining room. Great porch swings overlook the valley and mountains. Meals are very good. Breakfast included. Dinner is not, but is very nice not to drive out for dinner at night, at least once while you are here. The trout was excellently prepared! It's quite a drive down the mountain to Santa Maria, where there are sodas and two Mini Supers for shopping. Once you get the hang of driving these mountain roads, it's not that bad. If you appreciate the conservation work and efforts to reduce carbon footprint in CR, you will appreciate staying at this lodge.

Definitely worth a visit, it's secluded but close to the main road. The breakfast is typical costarican food and it's delicious, it has parking and it's super clean. Perfect to go with the family or friends
