I had reservations at this property, it was a late check in so they told me there was no one at the reception so they would leave the room door open with key inside, that was ok, but they never told me there was no one at the reception ever. My tv did not work any if the days were...

In the nineteen-fifties, west-island Montreal was filled with summer cottages owned by people from the city. Chalets Beaconsfield seems to be a relic of that era, though there appear to be a couple of newer structures. Our room appeared to be one of the originals, though it was equipped with two comfortable queen-sized beds, plus a mini-fridge, microwave oven, and...

Finding lodging on the West Island can be difficult if you don't want to stay in an airport hotel or in Vaudreuil. This was more affordable than any other option, and more conveniently located too, right on Rue Lakeshore. It was clean and was perfectly satisfactory. Our room had a table with two chairs, a twin bed and a full...

Room was average size with small kitchen and patio door to a small garden. Very friendly and accommodating owner. Super location for western Montreal. Near the 2 & 20, dozens of restaurants and bars within a few minutes drive. Very clean and quiet. I think the owner said they were selling it - it is in a pretty upscale neighborhood...

Last time I stayed there was just scary. Bugs all over and nasty smells. Lots of noise. Cranky owners. There used to be an office person called George who would sort things out but he is gone. Duct tape does not fix everything.

We recently visited the Beaconsfield area after an absence of 50 years. The area is more beautiful and developed as you would expect. Travelling along the residential part of the Lakeshore was delightful. Our overnight stay at the Chalets Beaconsfield Motel was very comfortable. Our small dog was welcome and there was a substantial grassy area for her early morning...

The Gentlemen, George and Karl, are no longer there. I was "greeted" by a pretty rude woman and did not even look at any rooms so I have no idea the condition they are in now - I have not been here for over a year but it used to be very cozy. If you can tolerate the new concierge...

The owner, Karl, is very gentlemanly and polite. He made our stay in his motel very pleasant. The room was clean and very quiet. Our pug dog was welcome. What an amazing find right in the heart of Beaconsfield only a block from the St.Lawrence River.

I recently had occasion to stay at this Motel. Located right in the town of Beaconsfield it is a rare find. Easy to get to from Highway 20..not 10 minutes from highway 40 this place is clean, comfortable and affordable. We found the bed was extremely comfortable, the room and bathroom was impeccably clean. Our host Karl was gracious and...

Maitenance is a big issue, but the rooms were not attractive. We had multiple lights that needed replacing. We left a day early as we did not want to stay any longer. George was out, and we just left the key with houskeeping. The good 1. Nice Coffee maker with coffee for a full pot 2. Nice refrigerator. 3. Great...
