We travelled to Don Lino for the second time, April 15 to 23 2016. There is a new buffet restaurant and the old buffet is now an a la carte, Cuban Style restaurant. Cannot comment on the quality of the a la carte as we did not eat here. The new buffet is a completely indoor facility, unlike the old...

This location is small/homey, like you're going to the family cottage. If you want a quiet, private getaway this is the spot. This was our first visit to Cuba, and we hope to become one of Don Lino's many regular visitors. This is not a place for an avid shopper or someone looking for sightseeing attractions. This is a place...

I went the first week of May. The exchange at the airport was 32%.There were no lineups for food. The best toaster in Cuba. Ran out of cola one day. Cubans invade the hotel on the weekends. They hang at the pool. They just love the deepfried hamburgers. I just couldn't bring myself to try one. I was surprised one morning ,...

A little bit delayed but I needed a comparison before writing my review. -Staff are wonderful -Food was decent. I enjoyed it more than a higher star resort I previously reviewed. More than likely because they have less mouths to feed. But hey, who goes to Cuba for the food? -Rooms were nice comfortable and air conditioned. -the property is...

We arrived on March 17 and stayed seven nights. There were five of us and we had 3 rooms. Our room was in one of the wooden units which contained 4 rooms. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed, this was a small balcony as well. We absolutely loved the Don Lino and the staff, everyone who worked...

This is definitely a 3 star resort with limited amenities but it works...if you are looking for a quieter vacation as there are less than 100 beds (I believe) and the resort is off the beaten track so you feel as though you are getting an authentic Cuban experience. While I have no baseline to compare against other Cuban resorts...

I stayed here for a week in Jan. It is a little isolated although there is a small town 15-20 minutes away by scooter maybe 45 min by bicycle. I rented a scooter while I was there for the week. The food was good nothing fancy but, they were finishing a new buffet while I was there and said they...

Wow. Were to start..After travelling to various parts of Cuba and experiencing all kinds of different resorts over the past 10 years this one was a surprise. I'm not one to judge when reading reviews that people have to say regarding the negative aspects of a resort. I like to focus on the positive and check places out myself. In...

My boyfriend and I decided to take the kids to Cuba this year. We have been many times to Veradaro but decided that we were on a budget this time and wanted a different experience of Cuba. As a Travel Agent, I did my research. I found Don Lino, a hidden gem, I think. The first day we arrived, I...
